F1 » Vettel admits not knowing car’s pace is ‘strange’

RB still with their pants down. This proves they haven't any rabbit in the hat at the moment. Caterham shows that the engine may be reliable and is a measure of how much it is about the car in a front running team. The chance for RB to close the gap soon gets thinner & thinner. Their start looks as compromised already and they will have to try very hard to catch the others, during the season. If they won't, there might be a chance for Vettel's suit to loose the dark colour in 2015, as well. Anyway, I smell fresh air this year. As intended, after all. I hope I will be wrong nevertheless and is obvious that if RB will still win in 2014 eventually, that might be a performance, even bigger than all their previous ones.

F1 » Horner declines to blame Newey

The next test will show a better picture about who was to blame and who wasn't. Until then, let's still give credit to Newey. However his excellence history can not exclude any misjudge. Someone like Adrian might be renowned not only because he has never made mistakes, yet for finding brilliant solutions to every problem encountered, after all.
