MotoGP » Cal Crutchlow turns heads at Estoril test

I have said before that Cal could take Bens seat next year, Posted by strex First, Cal Crutchlow has signed a two-year deal with Yamaha Tech 3, not Yamaha Japan like Ben Spies. Second, yes, Cal is doing very good for now but it's not necessarily means to write off BS only on a few bad (luck) races. First job for CC is to constantly beat (where it counts, in races) his team mate, then some few 5-6 p. or podiums or maybe pole position (e.g. Silverstone) or even to beat factory riders like Ben did last year in Indianapolis. If he do that he is ready for factory team.

MotoGP » MotoGP Portugal - Race results

Spies dissapointing. Whats going on there ? Posted by LCtanner Spies' problems started with fuel breather clamp that's put on on the grid being left on for race, when he got that off another tube was flapping about. Worried about brakes, didn't want to be near anyone in braking zone, overused front tyre, ran wide, crashed off bump. A tool used to temporarily block the fuel overflow pipe on grid was accidentally left in place for the race start, compromising the Texan’s ability to ride competitively. The tool’s location adjacent to the front brake lever made it impossible for him to brake effectively, ultimately affecting his concentration which resulted in a crash with fifteen laps remaining of the race.
