MotoGP » Ben Spies - Q&A: Part 1

Tomco: Interesting to read his comments regarding Mladin who incidentally never cut it in europe and had to go to the states to do his winning - much like ex F1 drivers.
I don't think that he was afraid to go to WSBK, it's more about big money they offered him in states. Judging by how Mladin (as a rookie) was playing with Troy Corser in ASBK 1992 with 14 race wins in the row i think that he had high possibility for at least one WSBK title.

MotoGP » Bridgestone: Positive debut for 2014 MotoGP tyres

News - Bridgestone is to bring its 2013-spec tires for the MotoGP race at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. Production delays meant that the Japanese tire manufacturer was unable to guarantee a full allocation of the 2014 spec medium rear tires with the heat-resistant treatment being supplied to all of the MotoGP riders. Julian Ryder: Bridgestone bringing 2013-spec tyres to Texas. Reason? "Production delay." Sometimes you wonder how they keep a straight face.

MotoGP » Official: Movistar returns to MotoGP with Yamaha

Telefonica/Movistar pulled out of racing over a disagreement with Honda and Repsol. When Honda signed Dani, Telefonica/Movistar had wanted to continue their backing, having funded Dani through the junior classes. Repsol insisted that if Pedrosa was to be in the factory team, he should be racing in Repsol colors, not in Telefonica/Movistar colors. Seeing their investment in Pedrosa going to waste, Telefonica/Movistar pulled out of Grand Prix motorcycle racing altogether. So long term scenario (Spanish battle) is: Pol Espargaro (YamahaTelefonica/Movistar) vs Marc Marquez (Honda Repsol)

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi 'wants another two years'

theeagle: Yamaha would be foolish to offer him a new contract.
It depends on many factors, many options is on the table. If JLo goes elsewhere, i'm sure he will stay with Pol E. (factory contract) as a new team mate. If JLo stays with Yamaha, then i think that it will depends probably on his results, or Yamaha plans (they offered him superbike option for 2015) which can change. I don't think that he is in position to dictate conditions for new contract.
