@sausagedog Yeah, just re-read it. I meant to say withOUT BE and FOM and GP. many apologies. I do not have friends inside the BRDC and I never said I did. I just emailed the Secretary and told him, as a fan, not to be ripped off and to do the right thing for silverstone. I do not think they should sign it and I told him so. No-one should be threatened that way. If A deal is not finacially viable then they should kick it to the cub. If prices go up anymore, I will not go cos I cant afford it. And many, many gp fans who like to go for the weekend and take the family wont go either. I would rather save my money and que up for Wimbledon.

Do you know what? I do not really care anymore. It's all so tedious and sordid somehow, charging extortionate amounts of money for one weekend a year. I do not think they should sign it. Silverstone will survive with BE and FOM and the GP. It's part of our heritage and will always be loved, but if the general public have to pay that much money for a ticket? Well, I wont be going again, thats for sure!

I do not care if he did get boo'd when visiting Brackley, and i dont suppose he does either really. They did not treat him fairly and thats that. Reubens and Jenson got out whilst they could and I shall be supporting them both Wholeheartedly next year. ****** Brawn!

I just listened to JB talking to Simon Mayo on iplayer and he seemed genuine about wanting a challenge, but as far as it was his decision, I think he was covering up for what really went on, like the true gentleman that he is. He did not sound convincing or very happy about it, more like he was trying to convince himself that all this was his idea, when we are pretty sure that it was not.
