BSB » BSB explains Croft loss

@ tripoddave "Its difficult to believe that a historic race circuit can be closed down because people move in next door and then complain about the noise." It happens dave, rather a lot actually and not just to race circuits, look at the nimbys who moved in next to Alton Towers. A lot of speedway tracks suffer the same trouble and a classic to end them all involved Hednesford Raceway stock car track, which was in operation for over 50 years when some new houses were built @ a mile away. The complaints soon came in and the result was a 6pm racing curfew, which was a blow because some nights the racing went on until 9!! Sadly this country is plain full of whingers!!!

MotoGP » Goodbye 125!

Really though, where is the innovation in bike GP racing now? 4 strokes across all 3 classes, wow! 2 strokes, 4 strokes, w4nkels, radials even diesels (well p'raps not!) , open up the rules and let manufacturers and engineers do what they want. It's all getting a tad boring from a technical point of view now. Blimey, imagine Neil Spalding's face with that variety of machinery to discuss!!
