The testing ban is total rubbish. How can you develop something if the person using it can't try it out??? Would you make a cooker and only cook 6 meals on it before you sell it to the public?? Would any of you guys and gals buy a bike that had not been extensively tested??? The testing ban sucks - but Suzuki's budget restraints suck even more as the team surely needs as much testing as possible somewhere. Such an experienced team headed by a ***** and backed by non a focused disinterested factory. Changes need to happen from the top down, but as it's Japanese and therefore you probably can't say anything against anything, nothing will happen

Great start to the race! Way to go Ben - fabulous result and can't wait to see you in full swing next season. Look forward to seeing Edwards and Spies do the Texan Talk Well, what do we do now?? 5 whole months of repeats? They should still have a magazine prog on the winter testing (what there is of it of course) - that's presuming that teams will be allowed to test - maybe Dorna/IRTA think it's better to save money than develop the bikes and make the sport more interesting. Blah, blah, blah. Where will they test? Yamaha - anywhere in the world Honda - Malaysia/Australia/Japan? Ducati - Malaysia/Australia? Suzuki - Le Mans at a push but Brands isn't so far to travel!!

pauly73 - I think you'll find that his contract was not renewed rather than he chose to walk away... also no team would ever make their machines slower on purpose just to prove a point!

You gotta feel sorry for the race team who work their butts off weekend in weekend out only to never actually improve their standing on the grid. They must feel like taking to drink! Reading between the lines the team is poorly managed by a guy who seems to have an ego the size of a truck and seems to be really poorly funded compared to other factory teams. Do the big bosses at the factory not feel utter shame every race and can they not actually improve the bike - surely it reflects badly on all their road bikes? 'Way of Life' is not ideal when it's always losing!!
