F1 » Bianchi crash could change Malaysia start time

The issue is not about rain. The fading light was a factor in Bianchi's accident. The rain was the reason that they had the delayed start. The MotoGP race start in Aus is so late that last years race resulted in a crash fest. This was due to the sudden drop in temperature as the sun went down. The start time was branded "lunacy" by the locals. Fortunately F1 is not a total lapdog to the TV networks and this rule is good news. I just hope that a similar rule gets introduced into bike racing before a rider gets killed.

WSBK » Rea ‘will lift Kawasaki to next level’

The Sykes-Baz controversy won't go away in a hurry but it was all about bad blood. Baz was only asked to give up a position not the win. 2nd is just the first loser, 3rd, 4th who cares you are all losers. What was he racing for, fifth in the world championship? Baz was lying when he said he did it for his mechanics. The mechanics would rather put on their resume mechanic for world champion Kawasaki Superbike Team than mechanic for 2nd place. They work for Kawasaki not Baz. Secondly, when he did admit that it was all about only being nice to someone who is nice to him. What is that about? He is a professional racer paid to do a job. If he wants to get personal about it then he should buy his own team and then do what he likes. I don't agree with Sykes for his part in the spat but I do agree with what he said, enjoy your fifth place Baz.
