MotoGP » Video: Casey Stoner testing Honda MotoGP bike

Hey where is the post about Rossi being a 9 time world champion and Stoner only has two? Oh here, let me do it. Once upon a time Rossi won 9 world championships. This is a good thing and one would wonder why then do the Rossi fans feel the need to attack Stoner? Well it comes from the fact that, head to head, Stoner beat Rossi more than Rossi beat Stoner, and to really rub salt into the wound a lot of that occurred while Stoner was on the Ducati aka "Destroyer of Careers". Then came the ultimate humiliation when the great one jumped ship to Ducati to show them all who is really boss, but what followed is best described as a farce.

MotoGP » Nicky Hayden: Ducati need something big

“Sepang has never been a particularly good track for Ducati: we raced here in October, and the bike hasn't changed much since then." Really? Au contraire, Nicky. 2010 Sepang Test 1. Valentino Rossi, Fiat Yamaha 2'00.271 2. Casey Stoner, Ducati Marlboro 2'00.512 3. Nicky Hayden, Ducati Marlboro 2'00.703 It has changed a lot since 2010 though hasn't it? Just in the wrong direction.

MotoGP » Nicky Hayden: Ducati need something big

2010 Sepang Test Nicky Hayden, Ducati Marlboro 2'00.703 2013 Sepang Test Nicky Hayden USA Ducati Team (GP13) 2m 2.184s I don't get it. Is the whole world stupid. Can't see the forest for the trees? The facts are just too obvious? First trace back to the point that the bike started to lose performance. Then everything after that point goes in the bin. Especially Rossi's aluminium frame.

MotoGP » Dovizioso: We knew it would be difficult

@baffled The aluminium frame! You think? 2005 pre-season testing Sepang Fastest: Sete Gibernau 73 laps - 2m01.83 on race tyres Yes, 8 years ago. That was the old steel framed piece of junk. If I was Dovi I would be asking for Ducati to wheel out all the old junk things that don't work first. Find out what works and what does not. What was Rossi's best race on the Ducati? About his 4th or so, France as I recall. That was before he made all his improvements that sent the Ducati off a cliff.

MotoGP » Positive conclusion as Crutchlow looks ahead to 2013

@ Alfalfa Because Crutchlow is fast and getting faster all the time. He has has proved that he deserves a shot at the title. Dovi had his day in the sun at Honda and trundled around to get some points. Crutchlow is faster than Dovi, end of story. He will learn how to improve his 'luck'. Dovi will not learn how to ride faster. It would be good to see Yamaha put Crutchlow on a factory spec bike like Honda have done for Bradl.
