F1 » HAVE YOUR SAY: Sebastian Vettel - right or wrong?

You don't get a triple World Champion whose in pole position and then expected to ride pillion to a journeyman. His success and contrary to many is impossible to be a fluke. Also people pay extortionate prices in F1 to see a World Champion win or defeated. Unfortunately Mark Webber was brought up in a country where losing is an obscenity as on the rare occasions it happens in whatever sport their the most unsporting nation in the world. Hence the Webber glares at the post race conference every time Vettel wins. He just ain't quick enough.

F1 » Montezemolo: Era of one man show cannot go on

This gibberish bore is doing nothing but bringing the sport constantly into disrepute and anywhere else would receive a ban.I'm an ex ferrari fanatic butgot fed up with the totally carping, negativity etc and as for the outrageous attempt with start line mechanics just to improve a drivers grid position who was obviously slower is beyond me.Even round the streets of Birmingham Fernando had a hellish of a decent car.The right man won the Championship and starting with the Toro Rosso and then that overtake of Alonso at Monza. Finally Adrian Newey should be knighted and then take his sword to Montypython whatever they call him and challenge him to a duel on horseback lol

F1 » Vettel 'could be one of the best of all time'

I tend to agree with what Jody said and looking back at Monaco thought for a period of time it was the reincarnation of the Brambillas.Vittorio would have been proud.Hamilton himself hasn't exactly lacked the Golden Spoon and like a certain tennis player seems to be hampered by a clinging parent. For me Vettels maturity especially in defeat seems to belie his age and of course he's blindingly quick (must be the pop (Factory Blend).I see also emerging another Flying Scotsman (Hail! Hail!the auld country) who given the right chances will be up with the pair of them though I do agree with Jody's comment.

F1 » Whitmarsh: F1 'going nowhere without the teams'

I think the Constructors should be applauded on this stance. In consideration of the what I consider to be an extortionate cost of a TV Licence most of it going to crass overmanning at the BBC the punter as it is is getting little in return.Motorsport seems to be one of the few successes. No way will I subscribe to the immoral excesses of Sky Sport and their ilk.I would however pay a slight excess on the licence for sport channels of our choice. So far this season apart from one Mercurial young man bless I feel the racing has been reasonably exciting certainly enough to watch the next one.

F1 » Hamilton escapes over Monaco rant

Fa! Heavens sake the way he drove he would have been Black Flagged at Hednesford Hills Banger Racing.Probably because at the start being overtaken at the Hairpin with the simplest move ever by a now ageing Michael. What the hell is his Father got to do with this? I don't think in the history of the sport has anyone been given more than the easy ride he's had at Maclaren and it could be for exactly the same reason as he so eloquently quoted AliG.
