Exactly James. The whole point is to have a limited life on the tyre to make the race interesting. It is the usual marketing bullshit, competitors taking the piss out of Pirelli for doing what they have been contracted to do, so they make their tyres last longer and the racing becomes dull again.

Surprised how many want to get rid of DRS and go back to processional racing where the result is largely set in quali. If DRS is the guaranteed overtake some think it is then the driver overtaken would take the place back on the following lap. Reality is a good driver should be able to make a gap of over 1 second from a mediocre driver and retain their position.

FFS drop the bias for one moment. I do not support Schumacher in any way but you are allowed to make a defensive move and you can resume the racing line. That was what MS appeared to do. Pushing LH onto the grass was less than gracious but technically he was ahead so not strictly illegal.

Hamilton + Ross, hardly the makings of a classic interview. Clarkson + Hamilton was an entertaining interview. When the interviewer understands what the interviewee does/likes it generally turns out well. Ross + Hamilton reminds me of Wogan + Bill Gates- mismatch!
