MotoGP » MotoGP title mathematics

I understand ur pain talentfan, this season was over in qatar, Dani hasnt been able to hold the rear tire this year, hes clearly the second fiddle and Repsol went full on for MM early in the year with their promo department. This is business, not racing, its entertainment for some, but for others its a dreary reminder of how obvious it is that human beings have not progressed very far in the last 2k years in terms of enlightenment. At least the level of exploitation has fallen since the olden days when people were fed to the lions for a bit of bread and circus maximus. Reminds me a quote by Hunter S. Thompson, "The TV business is uglier than most things. It is normally perceived as some kind of cruel and shallow money trench through the heart of the journalism industry, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free and good men die like dogs, for no good reason." (Generation of Swine circa 88')

F1 » Webber: The right time to stop

Webber has been a #2 since he made it plain, he hasnt had a shot since 2011, and thats the truth, dont even pretend webber has had a chance at the title, because since 2011 his car has been breaking down and just hasnt been up there unless the team was struggling for points (last year). If RBR have the car, Vettel will always win over Webber, unless they tell Vettel he has an imaginary car problem.

MotoGP » POLL: Marquez vs Lorenzo - Who will win 2013 MotoGP title?

but the supreme court is standing by just in case :) Hope it rains hard but enough so that the race is on for full points, I think we would see something interesting, if it's dry, the guy with the tires suited best to him will win it, which is of course, a no brainer,... which of course is what the guys who promote this sport want, ... cough cough, a no brainer :) ...

F1 » Raikkonen's Lotus fails post-qualifying scrutineering

@rich, please try not to confuse dimension with construction :) I understand your simple point, and it's appeal. Next time leave induction for people who have the slightest of clue :) As for Kimi, he just needs to cover his position and make sure he can keep the pressure on the team. As for the scrutineers, seeing as how Lotus have made it a point to deflect speculation that their floor is out of bounds they only checked one driver when it seems Lotus have made it a 'trend' in furnishing their cars with flexi-floors, something the scrutineers didn't seem was worth the look on Lotus' other car.

F1 » Wishbone failure caused Hamilton spin

Vettel has been struggling most of the sessions, yes hes fast, but thats because his car is doing most of the work, you can see him losing it and how he has to run off the track to try and hold more speed in the technical areas. Vettel is not as fast this weekend as he has been most of this year, Mark has a good shot, but Vettel probably has priority on setup and hence better tire wear. If one of the Merc's can stick it up in front of Vettel and burn down his motor and aero, Merc have a good shot.
