MotoGP » Pedrosa: I always look forward to Motegi

Dani probably wont beat Lorenzo this round, if he doesnt, it will go down to the last round, and he sure as heck won't beat Marc, Honda cannot afford to let that happen. Lonely 3rd for Pedrosa, distant second for Lorenzo after he gets broken by Marc after 2/3's of a race and Marc ftw, cant see it going any other way. But maybe ... there is a chance that Godzilla will come out of the ocean and take out Motegi after swallowing up the leaky nuclear reactors.

F1 » F1 has lost the 'fear factor' - Davidson

@Welshie, I must admit, I didnt make point point crystal clear, but if your gonna quote someone, at least try to get the gist of their point before throwing up a counter, I suspect you didnt quite get Debord's criticism about the spectacle, and you really didnt get the idea that putting a negative connotation on safety is to me, almost like saying its okay to promote exploitation in the entertainment biz,.... Sure it will always be there, but lets not ask for unnecessary risks. The only thing F1 needs is a weight penalty system to help move the spectacle along, and perhaps relaxing the rules in order to bring back some of that competitive spirit that is being sapped out of motorsports at the moment. Ironic that I would reference a marxist for my point, but he does have a good point about 'religion and marketing', as does E. Bernays :) There are sports like boxing or mma for people who want full on exploitation at the expense of people's health, F1 is fine the way it is so far as saf

MotoGP » Marc Marquez explains Phillip Island black flag

Just so you guys know turn one at PI offers a variety of lines given the next sequence of turns, so please don't believe Jorge was supposed to assume the point closest to the edge of the track. People do not merge on to a highway going half speed and cut directly in to traffic, Marc's move on to the racing line at such a speed (at the apex no less) was reckless and deserves berating, Jorge was not responsible to make sure he could predict Marc's line before assuming his braking point going in to turn 1. There are a lot of people out there who repeat what they are told, and on this point, it is so evident. I just can't fathom why people constantly prefer to act like a piece of livestock when it comes to reasoning. & for the record, you could see Marc losing it before he was supposed to go in (when his rear stepped out), he was losing it, couple that with a lap count instead of box on his board, and you get him blowing the race. It was clear those tires were only allowed 10 laps.

MotoGP » Pedrosa hails best Phillip Island MotoGP result

I love people who complain about the semantics of other people's speach, implying they are ignorant of their own teammates when they are speaking a language that is not their first. Perhaps the guys harping on Dani's negligence can go to spain and try not to offend someone through slight implication. Think before you speak, some times making a meaningful statement is more interesting than making a statement that might confuse someone, and then tack on that they might not have enough mastery of that language to cover their bases while speaking in real time. Go Dani, a shame his 2nd bike was mediocre, but too be honest, that might have spoiled the 'show', at least for Yamaha, what little hope they have in this fiasco of a marketing experiment they participate in. Remember, in order for someone to be a legitimate hero, they must beat their teammate and it cannot be the bike they are on, or the tires fitted around their rims.

WSBK » Melandri to make Aprilia debut in test?

If Dosoli is with Melandri, Melandri will be the #1 rider :) So far as Guintoli being evenly matched, I guess you could say that, but that would be saying the same thing as Jenson Button being evenly matched with Lewis Hamilton, and to be frank, thats not even really the case, Guintoli just hung around for points and didnt really push for glory, might be the smart way to go about things, if you are on one of the best supported bikes with Max's old crew chief, but he had no chance of beating Sykes with that attitude, and despite the DNFs for Laverty and Sykes both of them finished in front of Guitnoli, and had Melandri had a decent bike and Chaz not been given 2nd best, both of them would have finished in front of Guintoli too.

MotoGP » Moto2: Scott Redding out with fractured wrist

no conspiracies only facts, Scott was owning the other guys pretty good. Pol's tires were going to crap, and he was even beaten to podium positions by backmarkers at one race it was so bad. Dunlop changed up the tires, dunlop decided the champinoship, this isn't a conspiracy, its called evidence and reason. Do you see Pol complaining about his tires anymore? Should he have had real big tire issues at the first half of the year, is it fair to have everyone on the same tires? What is the reason for putting everyone on the same tires? I can tell you, but you guys don't want to wake up. Check out Plato's cave on youtube for further reference.
