F1 » Vettel not thinking of the title

I love how people blame people for lack of consistency when they have to go past the limit to keep up with the faster vehicles. You guys have no clue and just repeat what you are told. You have consistency because you have enough in the bag to keep the line, the other guys won't have the consistency because they are taking much more of a risk, please everybody stop worshiping commentators speech and get a clue.

F1 » Vettel stuns with record-breaking pole

Webber is probably not even a factor in how they design the car, Vettel is Red Bull's pet, he will get the best of everything on that team, please don't pretend things are equal for both drivers on that team, that is a clear sign of denial and delusion. Webber held his own in 2010, after that and his 'remarks' hes been pretty much sitting pretty as #2, don't pretend hes got any where near the support as Vettel.

MotoGP » Ben Spies retires from racing

the only season that wrecked Ben's career was last when Rossi got the green light to come back. He was pretty good in 2011, 2012 Yamaha just got away with making a crap bike and selling Spies a dummy. The Ducati is going no where, and his health is obviously more important than the quasi spectacle that motogp is. Some times not wasting your time with a losing interest is a good thing.

F1 » Webber pleased with strategy call

Mercedes looked like they were doing their homework this round, I don't suspect they will fall back too much, their straightline speed is their achilies heel, despite the nonsense the reporters keep repeating day in and day out. This isnt a few years ago with in race refueling where the merc didnt have to worry about being fuel limited, and merc seem to be carrying more drag than average. Sauber and Lotus + Ferrari will be dangerous, but as long as the merc doesnt get it's pants taken off down the straight, the merc can hold its advantage.

MotoGP » Lorenzo maintains pressure with pole, Hayden third

@benito, I remember Anthony West making Rossi look pretty poor in the wet on a green machine. The guys on the Ducati are well practiced low grip riders, the wet should be second nature to them, and the wet slicks provide closer amounts of grip vs the rest of the bikes. This is nothing surprising, If it's pooring, Hayden will probably podium if his tires manage to last.
