F1 » Alonso open to Le Mans bid, but Hamilton says no

SkidCarrera: This makes me even less of a fan of Lewis.
Why single him out? Although it's a great event and looks good on a CV, countless F1 drivers, past and present, have shown indifference to LeMans. It's not a strange concept to grasp - that's partly why they drive single seaters! It's like criticising Moto GP riders for not wanting to do the Suzuka 8 hours. Unless, of course, it's just another excuse to bash LH. Surely not?
What would make you say that? Of course it's another reason. Especially, when you read ridiculous comments like "he doesn't want to mess up his hairstyle" and "he doesn't have the balls". That should tell you all you need to know.
I would never stoop to childish taunts, but I do like my driving "heroes" to at least have an appreciation of the history of the wider sport. For Lewis to say he's never even seen an LM24 just shows him up as an ignoramus, IMHO.

F1 » Arrivabene: We have drivers that can jump into a Ferrari

SkidCarrera: Why doesn't he stop bullying Kimi? Does he really think that's the way to get the best out of him?
1.That's not bullying, more like warning. 2.Better than " praising at all cost " seen on previous managements. 3.Afterall Raikkonen didn't do much since his return with Ferrari. He wasn't shadowing Alonso for sure...
Don't get me wrong. I'm not a huge Kimi fan. I personally think he's had a career distinguished mostly by being vastly overpaid for the job he's done. I'm just questioning the management style. The old carrot v stick argument. Both can result in an ignominious sacking. The former usually gets the best out of the employee in the meantime...
