F1 » The art of painting an F1 race car

Fully agree with EdOz. Autoplay videos are an offence against good sense and the current standard of website protocol. If I want to hear/watch a video on a webpage, I am more than capable of clicking "Play", as are all your visitors. Furthermore, the way the video restarts each time you go to the view the second or third pages of an article is irritating to the point of never wanting to visit the site again. I am using Pistonheads more and more as it doesn't have this excruciating feature. Stop it immediately!

F1 » Kate Walker: The dark cloud

Pointless article. This wasn't a motor racing accident, it was an industrial accident. The guy got run over by truck, which could have happened on any building site anywhere in the world. Bringing F1 into the argument as if it's some kind of validation of "motor racing is dangerous" is sensationalist, unnecessary and unhelpful. It's also very poor journalism. Shame on you Ms Walker.

F1 » Young Driver Test outing with Williams 'a must' for Susie Wolff

The mood of these comments is spot on. Susie has had, at best, a mediocre career up till now. If she were a man with the same CV, he would be in retirement already. Situations like this provide further evidence - if any were needed - that the female physique/mindset just isn't compatible with Grand Prix racing. If F1 needs and wants the "sideshow" of a female participant, then that's a different story. Just let's not pretend Susie will be there because she can outperform Lewis Hamilton. That would be unfair on her, and would miss the point completely.
