MOTOGP » Future of MotoGP: Asia and Brazil in, Spain and US out?

This might fly in the face of my personal beliefs, but its awesome that there are 3 US rounds, but overall all 3 rounds should be dropped and simpily because americans seem more happy with the more mainstream sports(e.g. the NFL, NBA, MLB, and collegiated sports) as oppose to something like motorcycle racing. Some might point to AMA as a reason for GPstay in america, but reality even that is lacking the mainstream appeal whether you are talking about Supercross or AMA Pro. The same can be said about the X-Games FMX. Going back to GP though, I place a huge part of the blame on Dorna for the lack of GP appeal in america and mainly due to their reluctance to market the sport to the wider mainstream audience.

F1 » Porsche: F1 not road relevant

While I would like to see Porsche(even Toyota, Ford, Honda, to name a few) return to F1, personally I don't blame them for not wanting to come back as the sport its too expensive to compete in. Ontop of that with the current economic climate sponsorship is getting tough to come by even for works/factory teams. Just look at the case of Yamaha in MotoGP. @Redda Bulla I agree with your list when you talk about them globally, however geographically its a different issue. I mean despite its popularity on the global stage, MotoGP is still stuck in the nitch when it come to a big market like america.

MOTOGP » Austin MotoGP: MotoGP in America - A brief history

It would be awesome if MotoGP was a big sport in america(as it has the ability to be despite the fact that motorcycle racing isn't that of a mainstream thing) , If anything one that that could rival the NFL, NBA, or MLB. When it come to that though, I put the blame squarely on Dorna for failing to market the sport to the wider mainstream, instead it seem to me that Dorna only care about the motorcycle-riding crowd.

F1 » Wolff aims for Young Driver Test

It would be nice if she could a seat, but to be realistic her chances are good as Elena Myers getting a seat on a prototype MotoGP bike because in the end I think teams, let alone sponsors would want an individual who run the greatest chance of running the in back. Another thing to consider, at 30 that is a bit too old for one to make a make top-level debut. If anything, I would say her chances are much in either NASCAR or Indycar. @D-Fuct Nobody is really saying that she shouldn't get a chance, however when you look at the current circumstances e.g. sponsors, economic state of the sport and things of that nature one must question her wisdom/intensions.

MOTOGP » Yamaha: MotoGP should move out of Europe

Why Yamaha feels that motogp ought move out of europe? hint, it has nothing to do with the popularity of the sport but rather about sponsors/lack of big name sponsors like FIAT, Generali, to name a few who have pulled out of the sport as a result of europe financial crisis. Yamaha on the on other feel that motogp ought to concentrate its efforts not only rich in fans, but mainly rich in big ticket corporate sponsors. Its for this reason why Dorna have been trying to push the sport for growth in america and asia...the areas is awashed with many potential big name sponsor. The problem though, despite the sale of motorcycles MotoGP just dosen't have same clout as as say the NFL, NBA or college sports(NCAA football/basketball). And please, don't blame NASCAR for the lack of MotoGP acceptance in america especially since motorcycle/power sports such as supercross/AMA is pretty nitch.
