F1 » Vote for your 2012 F1 Driver of the Year

I'm a Vettel fan, but Alonso should get the top honors of being 2012 driver of the year and simpily because he really fought a good fight right down to the end while never giving up. If anything he definitely demonstrated that he was a competitive sportsman. Sergio Perez however gets the runner up nod simpily for showing that he had some future potential.

F1 » Senna to explore DTM option?

This just my opinion, but if I were in Senna's shoes and facing the likelihood of not getting a ride, I would gravitate more towards IndyCar. @richard, I wouldn't say that ex-F1 drivers can't be successful at NASCAR...look at Montoya. Sure he haven't won alot races, but he have proved to be very competitive acheiving poles, a win, chase berth, to name some of his achievements.

F1 » Austin to request 2013 date change?

NASCAR is the least of F1 problems and simpily because NASCAR run a weekly racing schedule. I've raised this argument before, but NASCAR is not, and I repeat not F1's biggest competitor when you're looking for mainstream coverage in america, however its biggest competitor are the more mainstream sporting games e.g. NFL, NBA, college football, and college basketball as the media tends to focus on those, even NASCAR is competing with those. Now if you were to ask me, in a perfect world the Austin race would need to be pushed to an earlier date on the calendar(in the spring to early summer)switching places with an early race and I doubt this would happen due to european fans

MOTOGP » POLL: Best looking MotoGP bike of 2012?

I would have to go with the Tech 3 Yamaha's. Overall, a question like this make me really miss when the Ninja ZX-RR was on the grid....not only did the bike had a great design form(both the 2005 and 2008), but it was in my opinion one of the most underappreciated piece of machinery. Its quite a shame though that the bike just wasn't in the right hands(even though Nakano did a good with it)for its full potential to be realized.

F1 » Rolex named official F1 timekeeper

I wonder why after all these years they ended their partnership with TAG Heuer. But anyhow TISSOT would've been my top choice as official timekeeper as they seem more synonymous with motorsports in general, however going with Rolex just tells me personally that the sport will continue to be more ssociated with the wealthy, an image I personally think F1 need to shed especially as it aim for the mainstream in america.
