MotoGP » POLL: Should MotoGP races have pit stops?

It would make for an interesting twist if the process could effectively be safe, but given the overall nature of motorcycle road racing I prefer the traditional sprints. Right now pit stops should be regulated to motorcycle endurance races as oppose to the traditional thing(the exception being a potentially dangerous situation). In the case of the Australian GP, Dorna had to do what they felt was safe for the riders as I could imagine there would've been some crashes that cause a dangerous situation.

MotoGP » Lorenzo: We're fighting for second place

@beastinblack this isn't a matter of fanboyism, but rather an actual analyst of how things are playing out and would've played out given the fact injuries have been a huge factor. Now I have nothing against Marc as he is quite talented in his own right, but the point is you can't discount the fact that injuries was the biggest factor and the fact Lorenzo suffered an injury that practically took him out of real contention.

MotoGP » Lorenzo: We're fighting for second place

The quality of the M1 this year had nothing to do with Lorenzo's inability to defend title as he is already fast. What people seem to forget that is that Lorenzo suffered an injury that in effect took 100 easy points out of his potential put things in perspective, Lorenzo's title defense was over at Assen after the crash that broke his collarbone. Had he not been injured chance he would've been leading the champion and by wide margin. Overall overall had Lorenzo nor Pedrosa been injured this would've technically been a Lorenzo - Pedrosa fight, but Marquez merely had the title handed to him on the account the injuried suffered by Lorenzo/Pedrosa.
