MotoGP » Lorenzo: We're fighting for second place

@beastinblack this isn't a matter of fanboyism, but rather an actual analyst of how things are playing out and would've played out given the fact injuries have been a huge factor. Now I have nothing against Marc as he is quite talented in his own right, but the point is you can't discount the fact that injuries was the biggest factor and the fact Lorenzo suffered an injury that practically took him out of real contention.

MotoGP » Lorenzo: We're fighting for second place

The quality of the M1 this year had nothing to do with Lorenzo's inability to defend title as he is already fast. What people seem to forget that is that Lorenzo suffered an injury that in effect took 100 easy points out of his potential put things in perspective, Lorenzo's title defense was over at Assen after the crash that broke his collarbone. Had he not been injured chance he would've been leading the champion and by wide margin. Overall overall had Lorenzo nor Pedrosa been injured this would've technically been a Lorenzo - Pedrosa fight, but Marquez merely had the title handed to him on the account the injuried suffered by Lorenzo/Pedrosa.

F1 » Raikkonen: Suzuka 'a proper circuit'

I don't know how anybody could justify saying that Monaco is a great circuit when you consider the fact like all street circuits its slow, boring and produce nothing a predictable/processional race. Now if you were ask me personally Bernie need to drop all street circuits from the calendar and go back to running to purpose built circuits and just maybe we'll finally see some quality races again.

IndyCar » Franchitti sent to hospital after huge last-lap crash

bvc43 You just describe the very problem with F1...too much focus on technology and very little focus on the actual racing and driver skill hence why the sometimes boring/processional races.... This compared to MotoGP, WSBK or NASCAR where in those championships fans are treated to actual racing as oppose to the race itself being some science experiment. Overall I would like to see the day when F1 once again put a strong emphasis on the drivers as oppose to the machines. As for this situation, its nothing but a freak racing incident and anybody whole clearly believe that motorsports/racing is 100% safe drivers(and riders) and spectators clearly haven't been into motorsports for a very long.
