F1 » Vettel escapes donuts penalty in Abu Dhabi

@Cubikrube If you are talking about burnouts, then they are still done in MotoGP. In fact Lorenzo did a crazy burnout after he clinched the title last year in australia But anyhow penalizing/fining drivers to me demonstrate how stuck in the past F1 continue to be. This where I say thankfully in MotoGP and NASCAR post-race celebrations are permissible and seem to be encouraged.

MotoGP » POLL: Marquez vs Lorenzo - Who will win 2013 MotoGP title?

longwayhome yamaha or honda it would not have made a difference. as for lorenzo his main problem has been either mistakes or setup issues, but other than that lorenzo is plenty fast regardless of the bike especially when you consider the fact that he won races yamaha theoretically should have lost. other than that had it not been for his clavicle injury he would've been leading marquez by a good margin.

MotoGP » Michael Jordan Motorsport to MotoGP or WSBK?

@UserM4 It would take more than just MJ's name, let alone that of Hayden, Edwards or Spies(Ret.) in getting the mainstream to recognize MotoGP in america. The real problem however is with Dorna...ontop of that the ongoing legal battle now playing out between Schwantz, Dorna and COTA isn't helping either. but anyhow i'm glad someone mentioned Eslick and I say this because he clearly has what it take it to compete on the world stage. If anything I really hope MJM retains him and I say this given the fact its becoming even more difficult for american talent to be noticed on the international scene(something blame both DMG and Dorna for) this just might be the opening he's been waiting for.

F1 » Webber: F1 needed a facelift

"Webber concedes that it was perhaps time for F1 to take a new technological direction, which it will with more environmentally-friendly turbo-charged V6 engines from 2014" The switch to V6 turbo has nothing to do with being environmentally-friendly, but more of a way for the FIA to slow down RB and Vettel. F1 needs a face lift alright, but the real issues still aren't being addressed like the over influx of pay drivers, uncompetitive privateers, boring races and the extreme cost associated with the sport. Until all of these is addressed F1 will continue on its current path of irrelevancy.
