F1 » Piquet launches legal action against Briatore

Beeflin I can't point you in the right direction but I also read somewhere that NP snr had told whiting shortly after the race what had happened. A couple of questions here why didn't NP jnr ask for advice of NP snr BEFORE the race and if he did that means snr may be witnessX and also complicite. And why the hell did he do it- there are team orders and team orders, I am sure in all the fray of the race weekend all drivers do things they regret like Hamilton pitting for tyres but blatant cheating you will get caught then what. He should have gone and had a quiet sit down and processed what he was going to do he probably wouldn't have.People have long memories in this sport just ask schumi.

F1 » Horner: Perhaps Dennis didn't hear misfire

Later in the article RB said we take a risk on fuel mixture and can get it wrong so maybe redbull got it wrong. SV was running very quickly at the front which with pace and extra drag would mean he would burn more than MW who was running slower in a fuel saving slipstream and so be able to lean fuel out earlier to maintain position. They may have gone too marginal on SV fuel to get him P1. We will see tomorrow won't we but if it was fuel I doubt they will make same mistake again.

F1 » Rosberg: Schumacher has been open, friendly and relaxed

ok you asked for it. He is in a car with little testing and track time, his team mate has valuable experience and data of the latsest cars and to get up to speed quickly he needs this information. Sharing info at this time will help develop the car quicker and schumi has to get his race pace back so no use pissing off a valuable asset now, but when he does start to get in groove he will be up to his old tricks. In fact this is his old tricks but he ain't going to admit it. Did the same to Herbert got all the data and info he needed then when he thought he had the upper hand and herbie got too close stopped sharing. A Lepeord never changes his spots.

F1 » Police stop Hamilton for 'over-exuberant' driving

So plod got his knickers in a twist over a bit of wheel spin. Typical we have them over here and news like this is usually in the same paper as pensioner robbed/beaten/conned. Leave alone the easy targets and point scoring and go catch some real ciminals who are hooning round in stolen motors. It is ironic though that it comes the day after schumi is lauded for backing a road safety campaign.

F1 » Senna: It would be great if we could test a little

2 cars on the grid? the cars started in the pitlane. I agree there should be some in session testing but not for some teams and not others. They knew the rules and yes they were done over by the £40 million thing but even with that I doubt the chassis builder put up their price so they must have factored this in when they put in their entry. They budgeted for 40 mill so should have been able to build cars by test session 1. Where they would loose out is in wind tunnel and development issues.

F1 » No point being Bruno Lalli!

It doesn't matter what your name is as he said he earned his super licence with results, if your name got you on the grid Mansell's boys would be there. However that said he could have used Lalli people in the know would still look at him and know who his uncle was, and give him a shot because he would so often be referred to as Ayrton's nephew. The name may open doors the rest is up to talent and money.
