F1 » When F1 used to have personalities: James Hunt

What was Patrese thinking trying to overtake? Nowadays such action would provoke a protest and a penalty. No wonder the racing is so predictable, It was P :)atrese who was the hero here Hunt just came off worse this time. And as for the temper tantrum lets think Senna/Irvine scumi/coulthard and trulli at brazil 09 to name a few. The likes of Hunt come along once in a while, thats why we like them but don't get deluded the paddock was still full of Brawns and Dennis's back then. In fact it was because of his party attitude he was given his chance in f1

F1 » Campos Meta takeover confirmed

cont... what if this car breaks a bit of down time at a test is frustrating but to stop a session on race weekend for a an untried car is madness and what if it causes a accident like Massa's or worse a fatality. It would not be at some test but in full public glare. Let them come to party BUT make them test first.

F1 » Campos Meta takeover confirmed

It's good that the team will be saved and appear in 2010 but I see a problem. This team will have not tested or done any track time before it rolls up in bahrian. To me this could at least cause problems at least and be down right dangerous. The teams test not just to set up the cars and find the best settings, First they make sure it will hang together. cont...

F1 » Wing problem grounds Virgin

The lack of wind tunnel time will effect the preformance and speed of the car. With the lack of testing then the money not spent driving will be spent on wind tunnel time by the teams. Virgin have made a major mistake and will be at a huge disadvantage by not going in a wind tunnel. However it seems they do not have a huge budget and it is very expensive to go in one.

F1 » Jean Todt: I'll only be FIA President for one term

Sunny way back on page 2 you asked why not throw out all the non team personell from the garages. You can't basically it's called promotion/perks all to do with sponsors/ investors etc. And why should the managers be licenesed? what good would that do? drivers are licenesed so they can show they have achieved the racing skill to move up or be indorsed and even banned for bad driving (as a road licence). What will a managers licence show? That he was a bad manager maybe....... it's pointless.

F1 » Hamilton: If anyone will be favoured, it's Button

Powerline you maybe right that lewis and jenson will end up buddies. See that's the problem with kids they get on but the parents get involved then all hell breaks loose. If you've ever been involved in youth sport you want the parents to drop the kids off have a great day then have them picked up at the end. The parents cause the trouble and thats exactly whats going to happen here. If mclaren are smart they will say, the stands are that way go watch from there.
