F1 » FIA issues engine mapping clarification

@Ptolomy ... The way I see it is that the FIA have not changed the rules, they have just changed the wording of the rule so that teams cannot get their legal brains to find a wording loophole. They just need an additional rule which states that any interpretation of any rule which is not within the spirit of that rule is "cheating".

F1 » Mercedes 'half a second off the pace'

It makes no sense to be a manufacturer in F1 if you are under achieving. The negative PR for the brand far outweighs the positive impact (and fun)of being there. And Darzetboy is correct. Merc are only there at this stage because of the positive PR generated by the interest in Schumi's comeback. If he calls it a day Merc will pull out within a year. They have the resources to win in F1 but the design team have never really brought it ... same adage "If you do the same things over and over again, how can you expect a different result?"

F1 » Schumacher keen to reward home fans

Michael certainly has the will and skill to win in F1 even at his age. The car though is a huge problem and is most certainly not a winning car. They have focused too much on trick diffusers, which only help in quali, and not enough on tyre preservation which is the name of the game in todays bullsh1t F1. I am sure that Michael wants to win for his home fans, but even he cannot win in a donkey cart with wooden wheels.

F1 » Grosjean: My mark for F1 2012 so far? 7.5 out of 10

I have always been a Kimi fan and honestly thought that Kimi would smoke Grosjean big time. Big surprise and I think that Romain has done extremely well, better than 7.5, and he looks at least equal if not faster than Kimi. He just needs a bit of luck and to realise that the race isn't necessarily won on the first lap, and then I think we have a future super star here. Find of the season for me.

F1 » Schumacher holds onto third

Great result for Schumi. The facts though is that he lucked this podium and we shouldn't be getting over excited about the Merc's performance. It was nothing special to be honest. Vettel, Maldonado and Lewis were all faster just getting caught up in their own wars. Schumi still has it and can certainly win with a decent car, just this Merc isn't it.
