MotoGP » Ben Spies 'optimistic' after Aragon test

The rumour mill is gathering momentum on this one. Spies to a factory Ducati in Pramac guise. I hope it comes to pass. I'm optimistic that the Yamaha won't break again in the near future. The most finely honed piece of prototype GP kit it is,but as fragile as a chrystal ball. Rumour has it that Bradl will have a factory Honda spec bike aswell for 2013. All quiet re engine allocation and what's left in the tank for Yamaha 2012. Dani has to be quietly confident.

MotoGP » Rossi, Ducati start Misano test

Stubborness? Ducati ? No way. They tried to make it a Jap Ducati to suit Rossi. The only thing they refused to give up was the most powerfull, efficient and sensible engine layout on the grid. The L4D16. Can anyone name a current production based Ducati resplendant in Yamaha Twin Spar Alloy Beam ? I guess not. By comparison, can anyone claim to have a current production based pneumatic valve actuated superbike at his or her's disposal day in and day out. I guess not.

I don't believe Dovi will need a boat load of luck. The bloke generally makes his own as he has done this year with the M1 which suffers catastrophic failure event in and event out unlike, dare I say it the D16. Who knows? Dovi next King of configuration adaptation. 125 single 2 stroke/250 2 stroke/800V4 4stroke/ 1000cc transverse 4 stroke/..next L4 1000cc in line 4 stroke. Strokes for folks. Nevermind.

Can it ! Misano is next GP round...in Italy. Rossi's home race. Can't blame them for yet again trying to steal the march prior to the event. Promo and thats all. Rossi's data within Ducati is worth less than a hole in the head. Stats don't lie. 9xCH vs 1xCh 23/9 Ducati. Nine while 9. 23/9. Yeah ! Old Loris won 8 and Bayliss got 1. Eh ? Shoestring budgets and all.

MotoGP » Czech Republic MotoGP, Brno - Friday practice (2)

Thanks for the props Pam. All any so called fan of the sport needs to do is rerun Ducati's impact before they tried to out do themselves with CF,soft engine, alloy twin spar etc. An extremely bored analyst will, with the stats in hand say....We have gone backwards year in and year out. Lets get back to OUR fundamentals.2003/2007 type assault and we have the right rider signed up. No nonsence,no fan fair, just like....

Well, thats a welcome turnaround for Rossi. Hopefully track and climactic conditions will be the same for qualy and the race. With this woefully depleted prototype line up for the race I will be gratefull for anything that injects some excitement. @ fads. The Ducati was a great GP bike until they constantly meddled with the basics of what made their race bike tick, which was trellis chassis, aluminium swingarm and L4D16. The decline is easily identified. CF,softer engine and finally alloy beam frame. Like so many on this forum and others point out. Results and stats don't lie. They cut both ways.

MotoGP » Casey Stoner: MotoGP title hopes 'finished'

Fair enough. Injured at Indy was an option to race as its a lefty track. No way the right hand circuits are an option immediately afterwards. I hope he can be back at Aragon. It would be nice to see a hat trick. As for the title chase. Sure its over for him barring a catastrophic scenario involving both George and Dani and we don't need nor want that. Crikey,I hope all the riders can stay in one piece until seasons end.
