MotoGP » Capirossi back on track for multi-bike Brno test

Nice to hear the safety officer will be putting a whole bunch through there paces. Good on Capirex. Always supported the bloke. His reputation took a bit of a battering because he hung around passed his sell by date. Casey also once described him as the best team mate he ever had. I somehow feel he won't be testing with the D16 though and it has naught to do with getting spat off. We'll see.

MotoGP » Official: Andrea Dovizioso to Ducati

@ realist. Eat my words. Indeed I will when Rossi wins a dry race or a wet one for that matter on a Ducati. To be honest,I can't see him winning a dry or wet race on an M1 next year either. Exactly why has Rossi got a Factory Yamaha ride for 2 years ? Surely its not based on performance. Based on what then ? Keep the series alive I guess. The GPC need him,I sure as hell don't.

MotoGP » Official: Andrea Dovizioso to Ducati

Im pleased to hear this actually. Dovi has in one season proven his adaptability. From V4 to transverse 4. L4 won't be an issue for him. He rides the front end harder than anyone. Thats how you get the Ducati front turned in. Can he elevate the game to challenge Dani,George and Marc, remains to be seen. Ducati without Yellow/McDonalds and full blooded red next year. I love it. I hope they have a huge straight line speed advantage next year and probably will. Top speed always gives the punters someting to moan about.Bless them fools. Preziosi can focus on D16 and Dovi can focus on wringing its neck without all the demands for radical change. Bridesmaid no more. Let's face it. All he has to do is beat HRC and Yamaha once next year in the dry. No doubt in my mind he and Ducati will do it regularly. No Furasawa required.

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi: Back to the future

Season after season the timing sheets post Valencia testing set the stage for the upcomming season. I'll reserve judgement on all this hype until the Tuesday evening after the dust settles on the 2012 title. Off topic. I don't hear a damn thing about the much publicised story that Dovi was going to sign for Ducati. Has he decided the best way to show a finger to GP politics is to stay with Tech3 and have a go at the factory boys again ? In any event Rossi is going to have to adjust his riding style back to M1 very quickly in November. Ducati are looking more and more to be left out in the cold after this debacle in terms of riders at least.

MotoGP » Lorenzo not counting out Stoner

Only DNF's will stand in the way of George and Dani from hereon in. Casey finds himself in much the same place that Ol' Loris found himself in after Catalunya 2006. He's in with a shout, but really not much chance. Much similarity between this and 2006. The Repsol man not getting as many wins as the Yamaha or Ducati man, (Rossi,Hayden,Capirex),but lifting the title with a last gasp chance. Dani can be that man this year against all odds because George is the man fo beat for the title. A fully fit Stoner may win the lions share of the races after Misano and still end up 3rd in the championship. George knows it. Plain sailing for him.
