MotoGP » Valentino Rossi watching the weather

Watching the weather indeed. Last I heard, he's opted for CF swingarm. Next reversal..CF monocoque chassis. Thank God Ducati have refused to change the L to a V and Desmo to Pneumatic. Its a sad day when a much proclaimed goat feels it necessary to do a rain dance. Take heart. He does have the most powerfull and fastest bike in a straight line out there. Revisit Catalunya 2007. All Rossi has to do is do what Stoner did with it.:)

MotoGP » Casey Stoner: I love Catalunya

The positive is the weather forecast. Friday through Sunday predicts dry and consistent temperature all three days. I hope the forecast stands the test of time. Casey, well, he has fond Ducati memories of Catalunya. 2007 is the most memorable. Blitzing Valentino through the twisty bits and getting the hammer down on corner exit stands out. No wonder he loves the joint. One memorable race that was, no matter which side of the camp you sat in back then. Spare me the HP advantage BS. Capirex was on the best and fastest bike:) Along with the best pay cheque within the team.

MotoGP » Ben Spies believes in Catalunya turn around

Maybe he should grab the spanners and set the bike up himself. You know, cross the T's and dot the I's. Way too many stuff ups week in and week out by his crew. The Spies situation is headed from sublime to ridiculous. Have HJC even got a helmet with a visor and chin strap ? Open face helmet, goggles,no fairing and flat bars may be the best fix for him right now all things considered. I remember my racing days and one super competitor and great champion walking down pit lane taunting everyone with a few innocuous words...'Remember to put in gas, we've got a race on in 20 minutes time'.

MotoGP » Poll Results: Who will Honda sign in Stoner's place?

General concensus suggests they will sign Rossi. The Poll results. Nevermind kiddies. Rossi will stick with the Desmo bike. I can't picture him being exposed yet again on the chattering HRC bike bequeathed to him by Stoner post 2012 Valencia. Really. Are Honda going to risk a bloke that could'nt ride around the front end issue of a winning bike?,yet still aboard the fastest straight line bike and clearly the best wet weather bike. Bless you Preziosi. Once bitten, twice shy. Logic suggests Bradl 1 year with options, results based. Why the hell would Rossi even want to go to Honda anyway ? Make an ass of himself on another Stoner developed all conquering bike ? Tongue in cheek of course. Fix the Honda in 80 seconds :)

MotoGP » Aluminium swing-arm among Ducati developments

Trolled top rated comment. My take is this. I would love to see Rossi do justice to a top Ducati. Crikey, all the maestro has to do is win a dry or wet race and claw his way back from his 23 vs 0 Stoner deficit with the same marque. Give him cake and the old dried as dead bones aluminium swing arm. 2007 Stoner had a hugely powerfull L4D16 stuck in a pipe frame with an aluminium swingarm. Handled like a floppy piece of cake but Stoner balanced it pretty damn well. Next complaint? Sam. Forget it. 2 years from now Chinese and Indian and Korean bikes will be on a rampage. Harken back to the days when Yamaha were chastised as an idiotic novelty that should have stuck to musical instruments.:)

MotoGP » Lorenzo: From fear to flawless

ZMR,lets not split b*ll hairs. Dani and Casey entertain an age gap of in and around 18 months compared with George. Two October kids and a Taurus/Spanish bull born in the month of May a year later. Lorenzo pack up shop in MotoGP in the next 3 years ? It will take one hell of a woman to convince him that there is something to life bigger than MotoGP and 2 wheels. Lorenzo's passion, like Casey's is to win races, but I think Lorenzo's aspirations are more long term within the sport and record books. The final outcome in the history books is anyone's guess. Beatles and Rolling Stones.

MotoGP » Be quick! Signed Casey Stoner replica RC212Vs

Glad I've got the best. That is the Protar 1:10 die cast model of the 2007 #27 winning bike. Would you believe it stands alongside the same Protar # 65 scale model of the Capirex' 2006 Ducati ? No signatures of course, but timeously purchased. I gave the Welkom 2004 M1 equivalent to my neighbour. He's a die hard fan of Gauloises # 46. Gooooo!!!!!. Anyway that #27 HRC bike replica is going to prove to be one hell of a collector item. But it won't hold a candle to an authentic #27 2007 Ducati scale model.

MotoGP » Lorenzo: From fear to flawless

@ Hoppy. The HRC/Stoner seat. If Bradl keeps a cool head its his for a multitude of Spanish Eurozone reasons. The rookie rule and all. Marquez' management made a huge mistake by not locking the GP1 ride this year. I'm not going to debate the worth of each rider, but Stefan's crowd grabbed the opportunity and the Marquez camp surrendered the initiative. All the big hitters are out of contract and Casey will take a bow. When George puts pen to paper, the dominoes will fall into place. I suspect George will stick with Yamaha in spite of HRC/Ducati offers. Mind you.I'm no prophet.
