MotoGP » Smith 'not intimidated' by MotoGP's elite

I wish him all the best and he has got the attitude right. Reminds of when Stoner stepped up and was asked how he felt about racing the likes of Rossi. He quipped...'he's just another bloke on a bike on race day'. Smith is also no midget. He had no chance in Moto2 with the Aspar in house effort. He sure as hell has a chance now with the M1. A 2013 season similar to Stoner's 2006 season is a good yardstick. Watch this space over the next 6 months rather than over the space of the pre-season tests.

MotoGP » Rossi, Lorenzo talk MotoGP 2013 during Jakarta visit

@ Ausrossi, your selective logic defies logic and graveltraps. All apologies mate. I hope SBK PI shines, this off season is a long one. Maybe the CF Panigale Ducati does well and I hope so actually, just to prove a point. That point being,Ducati lacked a little something between the bars and the pegs, the past 2 seasons GP level, that being their riders. Resting on laurels. Just my take on that took.

MotoGP » Stoner leaves door ajar to MotoGP return

And there I was thinking Stoner was gone from GP for good. He is. Get over it,you too Crash.net and no offence given or taken. The name Stoner merely gains hits on websites right now for the same reason he left 2 wheels. Sure,Casey will dangle a carrot for you to feed off on occasion, but that's about it. The next villian of the peace is his replacement at HRC. Yes,Marquez. The game needs him to do a Stoner and he probably will, which will happily leave Ezpeleta in one hell of a situation. Unable to back two horses for the same dollar and make a profit off either party's blood, sweat and gears. Stoner saw this mess commong.

MotoGP » Ducati won't ditch Desmodromic system

Rightly so. Nothing wrong with desmo L twin or 4. It will be a cold day in hell when you see a pneumatic valve actuated superbike available for road use. I'm already taking a shine to Gobmeier's common sense approach as opposed to the clutching at straws and blame game Ducati's engineering staff have had to put up with since 2011 in a futile attempt to assuage the demands of a majority of one within the team.

MotoGP » Ben Spies: The moment I decided to leave Yamaha

Spies will have full factory bikes and support like Hayden and Dovi. Max Batolini will be his hand picked engineer. Corse colours, but different sponsorship labels on the two pramac bikes. The full article and interview makes for fascinating reading. Ben will be far better off this season and the results will be far better than last season,I'm sure. This move is a better place for him. Concentrate on beating the other Ducati's first and if some Honda and Yamaha scalps are picked up along the way its a bonus.
