MotoGP » HAVE YOUR SAY: Name your Sepang star

Sandro Cortese #1 Moto 3. I enjoyed that race. At one stage you just knew he was riding for the title and wanted to give Fahmi his day in the sun,but the killer instinct took over and well done. Vinales gets a thumbs up for the biggest quit of recent history. Marquez for blowing it temporarily in Moto 2. Lorenzo for applying Rossi'esque guile in pursuit of the title. Ducati for having proven yet again they have a very sound bike outside of a bone dry race. Dani for keeping the fight alive. Stoner for the entertainment, performance and commitment to help Dani. Star of the day was undoubtedly the weather. The GPC can't control that issue. Thoroughly entertaining.

MotoGP » Downbeat Stoner: Our potential is much higher

Gabbarini and crew certainly got a workout. Right now all they can do is chase their tails around the chatter, like Dani's side of the camp. Stoner is losing 2/10ths in the final sector trying to keep the front down and there is not much he can do about that. Bottom line is,he is up against it tomorrow. Even if they claw back 2/10ths with the set up he will still be up against it to beat the Yamaha's. A good old thunderstorm may be what HRC and Ducati need.

MotoGP » Spies: It wasn't worth taking any risks

2 The Bad Guy. Maybe you lost my drift. Ben has stuck his neck out in spite of all. Rossi has not. Rossi identified issues for 2 seasons and failed to compromise himself in the quest for improvement. Spies went for broke every weekend and accepted the poison that is his M1 side of the Yamaha box. Who is going to take the fall for Ben's dismall 2012 is anyones guess. One eye on 2013 Ducati for him I'm sure. M1 Sepang for him. Like Rossi on D16, don't give a sh*t. Ride out the contract and thats it. Yet for both of them. When the visor is down, most everything flies out the window and they will do the best they can for themselves with the kit they have.

MotoGP » Stoner back in the hunt at the front

Weather forecasts suggest a good possibility of wet qualy and race. A wet race will certainly favour Ducati, the best wet weather package. Conversely it may also favour Stoner, one of the all time greats in the wet where less physical input and more finesse is required. Good to see him at the sharp end so quickly. @ Respect all riders. Honda the best bike ? Yamaha are 1st,4th,5th in the title chase. Honda are 2nd,3rd and somewhere. I know what you are driving at. Fact is the Honda and Yamaha are very evenly matched. The Ducati is damn close but a clear second best. Probably because they Don't have an Alien on board.

MotoGP » Rossi: 'Slowest of the three but we have to try'

'WE are the slowest of the three' We no doubt includes Ducati and Burgess. Hell. Everytime Stoner used the 'we' word he got dubbed a moaner. Capirossi beat you by a country mile in 2005 on ..yes,a pipe frame Ducati with a shoestring budget. In and around the same age as you are now. All the best Vale's,statistically you own Sepang like Mugello. IN Goat WE trust??? 3 weeks to go to Yamaha re - invention. Look forward to Sepang and more forward to Valencia post race testing.

MotoGP » Pedrosa maintains pressure with Motegi win

Congrats to Dani. All he can do now is keep winning and hope George has bummer, which is highly unlikely. Dare I dub Lorenzo the new Wayne Rainey ? Brilliant performance by him in his quest for a 2nd GP crown. Ben Spies, well. He clearly has issues with the Yamaha's front end. The Ducati 1000 may suit him a whole lot more. Tongue in cheek that one, but stranger turnarounds of fortune have happened. And half cripple Casey ? Dovi only 4 points adrift of 3rd right now. Nevermind. Stoner did a sterling job. Malaysia will be kinder to Yamaha and kinder to Stoner.Nice flowing circuit. A drenched Sepang race may be a blessing for him.

MotoGP » Stoner excited for Motegi MotoGP return

He's going to have a lot fun these last few rounds. Probably miss the gp paddock like a hole in the head next year. Miss riding a prototype RC213V ? Maybe not. Probably get lots of offers to test HRC's bike against the stop watch next year in private testing. Best of both worlds for him next year.Gets to thrash the bike without all the GP weekends media bs. Keeps himself sharp and up to speed with developments should he at some stage be offered and ponder a return once the GPC have the current mess sorted out.
