MotoGP » Aragon MotoGP - Qualifying

So much for the much in reserve. Good job by Dani. As expected from George. The bloke never broke a sweat. Back to that German rookie. Hugely impressive, yet again. Calvin vs Valentino on the 'morrow will be interesting....really. Rossi figures he can redress Yamaha's failures circa 2011.Those M1's are getting decidedly front end iffy and topsy turvy per race and practise session. That used to be a Ducati issue. What say ye ?

MotoGP » Pedrosa to the front as rain in Spain continues

Happy Birthday Dani. #26 turns 27 and in 2 weeks time #27 turns 27. How time flies. Rapidly becomming elder statesmen of the paddock.Enjoy qualy all of you. I wish Dani a sterling weekend along with his #65/56 team mate. Lorenzo under pressure ? This blokes understanding of pressure is a force you exert, lap in and lap out. Race in and race out. Year in and year out against your opposition. Dani is up against a 38 point deficit but I hope he reduces it. He's up against it, not George.

MotoGP » Rossi: Result doesn't reflect our potential

@ Rob,I was planning to be out of this ,but I'm absorbed. No,I don't hate Rossi. Never met him, but I do abhor his association and abject failure within Ducati. I was one of a handfull that decried his signing in the first place. All he had to do was accept that Lorenzo was and is the real deal. Pride came before the fall. Stoner got shafted all round. Credit to Suppo,Tardozzi and Preziosi for sticking with him.Not to mention Gabbarini and crew. Del Torchio is clueless. He knows what makes money turn, but don't know what a game dog is if it bit his ass. Ducati appear to be older and wiser now. Testing is a case in point. Scurry away to Mugello/Misano,rather than go head to head with HRC and Yamaha as opportunity avails itself. Capirossi always took it on the chin as did Stoner and Hayden. Ducati have been the big losers in terms of the signing not Rossi.Post Mortem Rossi 2011/12.

MotoGP » Rossi: Result doesn't reflect our potential

And Judas hanged himself. Go thee to Coventry and do likewise. Where the hell is Coventry anyway ? Not in my Hemisphere anyway. Back to topic. Methinks Rossi protesteth too much. Slips a gear change and as per usual blames the seamless gearbox or whatever provided by Preziosi. Nevermind, lets enjoy the potential on the 'morrow. Crikey! I'm almost as popstar as Rossi right now. Rejoin subject post race. Hope #46 exploits potential for a change on a Ducati.

MotoGP » Rossi: Result doesn't reflect our potential

@ Realist. Sure it ends. Around about Club 30+. Ask Loris Capirossi. One offs and exceptions granted. Loris was winning races on the D16 though on a shoestring budget while the project was in its infancy. There is no way Rossi can catch up to Capirex' exploits within Ducati rank and file and I'm pleased. The quitter that is Rossi may win all five of the remaining rounds and he will go down as the 3rd best Ducati GP rider they ever had. Highly unlikely though. Bayliss won one.

MotoGP » Aragon MotoGP - Friday practice (2)

Qualy prediction is wet, race prediction dry. Yet again the young German adapts and goes from strength to strength. Strength to him and LCR. High time we all focused on the future of the GP grid rather than the past. Ducati enigma. What can one say. In CF format and sundry variations,it has over the past 2 seasons been touted as arguably the bike to have in the wet. :) Was until the guru demanded change. Anyway, Rossi's mission was accomplished in Misano. Development over to Hayden I guess.High time. Yamaha won't be listening to Spies and Ducati won't pay Rossi much mind from hereon in.
