Very disappointing.
Someone better let Cal know he's not allowed to mix it with any Yamaha riders next year, and that he must stay behind for fear of banging fairings.
What a joke. Can't believe that when Rossi say he is leaving a team, they treat him like an amateur. Hope he gets to rub their face in it when he goes to Duke. Like he did to Honda.
Pathetic.

It was a token ride and the team was happy with his input. Job done for all concerned. Nothing more, nothing less. Onya Chris. .

@ Sparky 62. Your post puts a good point across. Why couldn't Stoner have put it like that in his post race interview? Maybe then everyone may not have thought he was whinging again. Because that's not what happened, that's why. .

Hoorays day, but one on one, Rossi's the gun. What will all the Stoner fans say if Hooray beats Stoner by the 3 points (he was happy to give Rossi) for the championship? C'mon guys, Stoner was riding for 2nd place, not the points. believe it. .

Well done Hooray, but the talking point will be Rossi showing Stoner his talent is as big as his ambition. lol. .

Ive read his announcement more times than I have ever read anything, I think. More because of the shock. After all it was only 3 weeks ago, complete denial, then bam, this. Just realised there was no mention of the passing of Marco. I thought that would may have had some baring on his decision. Obviously not, or maybe out of respect he never gave it a mention. Just an observation, nothing more. .

If all 5 riders were racing for points only (as some posters are saying Mellandri should have done) we would not have such exciting racing as we witnessed. .

Not the 1st person to leave because of his convictions. A guy named Crosby did the same in the 80's. .

Who really cares? Dorna need to have a good look at the reason Stoner left, and take notice of his comments. And watch last weeks WSBK race. .
