MotoGP » Rossi and Marquez: No grudge match

Racing incident, however MM has to learn to fight for the win if it's possible, and back off when it's not. He knew Rossi was rapidly closing the 4 sec gap and had all that time to think what he should do when Rossi passes him. The answer he came up with was not the best, and he will learn from that. Bit puzzled though, on why MM didn't admit he was to blame for the collision. Maybe, like a lot of posters on the site, he to thinks that Rossi did some sort of a "flick" to cause contact. I have watched the incident over and over, and can't see it, but they both know "if" it happened. 20 valuable points down the drain, that are going to be hard to claw back Still smiling after 12 days. GO Rossi..

MotoGP » Dani Pedrosa delays MotoGP return

evenracingisbest:
ianisme: Please, no more "bring back Stoner" comments. He was a miserable bug.ger when he was in MotoGP full time. I for one am happy that he's retired and have no desire to see his gloomy face on my TV screen again. That's not an anti-Aussie thing either. I'm a big fan of the Troys and Wayne and all the other beaut riders from down under.
its nonsensical that you think he shouldnt ride due to you dont like the guy and think he is miserable - FACT - he has two titles inc one on a ducati and its surely no surprise to anyone he would be a top 4 finish at jerez a track he knows inside out and a far better qualified racer than Aoyama the key he is qualified - the right man for the job. and Jlo isnt jumping to honda half way through a season either , were not playing fantasy motogp
It's nonsensical and unrealistic of you to think that he would finish in the top 4.

MotoGP » Dani Pedrosa delays MotoGP return

Guna4699: A bunch of people here believe that a time trail expert with hardly any practice in couple of years could jump on a Honda and start smoking a grid stronger than he ever faced in his years before retirement...
Calm down dude, you're giving Rossi fans a bad name. We can all appreciate Rossi's past glories and impressive recent form without having to belittle other great riders.
Who even talked about Rossi's past glory,, my point is just how can people think about a rider with hardly any track time can immediately start beating those riders who are practising week in week out? Motogp isn't any place to be kidding around... I plainly mean there isn't any real limit for few guys fantasizing about Stoner being a super man...
Relax Guna. People who keep rabbiting on about bringing back Stoner are delusional.

MotoGP » Rossi on brink of record 200th podium

BrazilDUluwita: Where are these chaps on this site who said Vale WILL NEVER WIN A RACE AGAIN ???. What happened .... oh... my , my I think if I am not mistaken... Vale... he did win the second place in the championship last year and this year he has already won Two out of Three races. What a shame for those who bet against Vale. Some ID's I don't even see them anymore. Maybe out of shame, they are in here in different ID's.
Yeah that's right. You forgot to mention the flack Rossi copped for giving Burgess the flick. Another master stroke by Rossi, that everybody thought would backfire. And judging by some of the long time posters on here, a lot of them are getting sick of Stoner being mentioned in Rossi posts all the time, and are starting to hit back. Karma I say. Lol.

I''m not a Stoner fan but do recognise how gifted the guy is/was. Any neutral fan of MotoGP would welcome back someone so talented as it would only add to the spectacle. Do I think he could start winning races from the get go? Unlikely due to a lack of race fitness but I reckon he still has the speed to put that bike on the front row in QP. Lots of the members calling for his return aren't saying he would smoke everyone - they just want to see a master of his craft at work again. Personally, I'd like to see him go up against Marquez to show good

MotoGP » More details emerge of Marquez injury

PorkPie:
Realist: Now, now Pork. To be fair, he's not the only one riding dirt track/dirt bikes between races. I follow quite a few of the GP guys on Instagram, and all of them post dirt videos. It's what they all do.
I did cover this Realist. I said by all means train, but not race. See the quote "Unfortunately the rider just behind him hit his hand” He didn't need to be that close to anybody. So even if he does need to train this way, the injury is entirely preventable. Only a year ago he broke his leg. He did this similarly, as he looked back at one of his friends, who had come off, and ran into a barrier. What do they say, Once is a Misfortune, Twice is Carelessness? I think he needs to wise up. This may be harsh, but this is world championship standard.
You won't get any arguments from me on your comments. Although he may have been sharpening up his passing skills. Lol.

MotoGP » Marquez in doubt for Jerez after surgery?

THE46FAN:
1972CZ250:
THE46FAN: I was just holding my bike handle bar with and without pinky finger...try it out.
So what's your opinion ..to difficult to operate the clutch..??? I think he'll be fine between steroids and painkillers.....If his past performance is any indication I think this will make him more (if that's possible) determined then ever...lets hope for a biggah fightha at Jerez!!
Exactly..if they cut off his pinky operatin the clutch shouldnt be a problem. But when u cant bend the pinky how do you think he'll ride? When they have fixed titanium in there he cant bend it for 2 to 3 weeks. Pain killers are not the soultion, rehab is.
Reading the doctors report doesn't indicate to me that he cannot bend the finger. Quiet the opposite. "This will allow us to initiate functional recovery after 24 hours and give him a chance of racing at Jerez.”
