MotoGP » Big gains but Vinales yet to find limit

Realist:
F0ul: The one thing I would bet on is that Vinales will be a MotoGP champion - His talent is head and shoulders above Marquez, and its only the time to learn the bike and the track that is going to prevent him winning at least one race this year!
You'll end up eating your shoe making statements like that. That's the same thing that has been said about Spies, Crutchlow, this rider and that rider. It ain't that easy! People are very eager to try and align somebody with Marquez to marginalize and/or diminish his ability. There won't be another Marquez for a very long time.
Your dead right Realist. I remember putting my neck out a bit when Spies came to Moto GP. Never again, and especially against MM.

MotoGP » MotoGP top speeds ‘medium-term concern’

"While the other manufacturers could go back to using spring-valve systems, what about Ducati? Are they the main opponents of a rev limit?" “That is not true. I can tell you that they are not the strongest one against the rev limit. Let's put it that way.” Let me have a stab in the dark who the other Manufacturer against it is! ...............................................................Honda.

MotoGP » Aggressiveness 'key to Pedrosa's title chances'

TedG:
Yossarian:
TedG: There are only 5 reasons DP has not won a championship and they has nothing to do with the bike, and they are Rossi, Stoner, Hayden,Lorenzo and Marquez.
Not entirely sure about Hayden, Dani was a rookie then but you hit the nail on the head with the four best reasons in the world.
Yeah the Hayden thing was kinda iffy. But he did finish ahead of DP for what it is worth.
You got it there Ted. And those 5 have 9 titles, the amount of time Dani's been in GP.

MotoGP » Aggressiveness 'key to Pedrosa's title chances'

I've seen races where everything was to Dani's liking, and from the 'get go' and he has ridden off into the sunset, without anyone getting near him. No, for Dani to win a race him being in the right frame of mind has a big baring on how he races. Can't warm the tyres up quick enough because of his weight. What a crock of $hit. Turn the tyre warmers up, or add some ballast. lol.

MotoGP » Aggressiveness 'key to Pedrosa's title chances'

benignlyindifferent: Hmm. I do not believe that Dani's weight prevents him from heating the tires. And I do not believe that Dani is required to step aside for Marc. And I do not believe Dani has been handed a second rate bike. Dani is in the same situation as Rossi and Jorge. He is up against a once in a generation rider and he needs to up his game if he wishes to compete. Can he ride quickly enough? Yes, we have seen that. But can he be aggressive enough, race in and race out, in all conditions? Not so sure. Somehow i think MM will face competiion for Jorge and Rossi only. both have won championships and both know what it takes to beat MM. Dani has never won a championship and seems subservient to his now two time WC teammate.
That about sums it up in my opinion. Well posted.
