MotoGP » Ducati to sell Open bikes

What a great way to promote our sport. Give everyone on the Duke an even chance without mega costs involved. And if the grid is filled with Ducati's (even if they don't win) how much of a promotional edge would that give them. Nothing like what Honda has done to promote our sport and sell more Hondas The future of Moto GP may be resurected if we go to open class IMHO. Well said nealio.

MotoGP » Pedrosa unsure of Ducati Factory 2 potential

@ Talentfan. "I am among many who have lost so much enthusiasm due to the absence of real competition that I no longer am that bothered if I actually miss a live race on the telly any more (while I cant wait to watch a BSB round)"... Can't add much to the above as I am in the same mood. Will say I very much enjoy Moto 2 though. I am hoping the new "open class" will acheive Dorna's objective of bigger grids and closer racing as we see in Moto 2. The clock is ticking to the 1st round. We may have a bit more to cheer about this year. I think last year would have been exciting to except for all the injuries and Bartista taking Rossi out in 1 round. lol.

MotoGP » Crutchlow tips Ducati for podium surprise

Anyone know where Ben Spies is ? lol. @ Indianbear. Not true. I have a favourite rider and more than anything, and I mean anything, I would love a level playing field. And if you think Rossi would be exposed, all I have to ask (without starting a debate) you is, what happened in 2004. Who was exposed? I will tell you. All the clowns that said Rossi only won in 2001, 02 and 03 because he was on the best bike.

MotoGP » Bradl falls twice, ends fourth fastest on final day

Point taken but your forgetting the bike he was on. Probably the best? The only reason I think Bradl deserves a better bike is that I watched him ride through turn 4 at PI in 2012 (named Stoner corner because of the way he rode through it), and he was drifting the Honda just as much as Stoner and also keeping it pinned. No one else did and Bradl caught my eye.
