MotoGP » Rossi: Marquez made a mistake

Yet another race that proved to me that I have been following the most exciting form of motor sport for the last 40 years. O.K. there are some years and races that are not as exciting, and you have run away victories, that happens. But to witness races like this, far outweighs the boring ones. There are to many remarkable races to mention over all those years, but in the last 15 years, the ones to remember usually involve a certain Valentino Rossi. Glad to still be witnessing THE DOCTOR still winning after all these years. Still smiling and it's been over 24hrs. Go Rossi.

MotoGP » Rossi: Marquez made a mistake

Mal x cont, where there was no room, causing Rossi to go wide after contact. Rossi then had to move over to the right to line up for the left. MM came up next to Rossi and tipped it in while Rossi was still there, causing MM to loose the front and crash. MM could have bagged 2nd and 20 points, instead ended up with nothing. Wanted to play with the "TOP DOG" and end up a tamed puppy. Judging by the Agree, Disagree, to your post, mostly everyone else thinks your off the mark with your comment as well. GO Rossi.

MotoGP » Pedrosa ‘improving a little each day’

bluefresh: all of you keep saying give the bike to stoner,.. i dont get it.. who is casey stoner?? #eh
He was a very fast rider who won 2 titles. After winning the 2nd title, he became disgruntled, and very unhappy with the administration of the sporting body that runs Moto GP. Before he left he bad mouthed the sport that gave him fame and fortune, and if he ever came back he would be a hypocrite, because nothing has changed since he left.

LordBongington: I think most of you forget that Honda and Yamaha AGREED to this set of rules and Ducati was the only one of the three to take advantage of them. Yes, they needed to do so to be able to develop their bike and they have done well from it, however there was nothing stopping Honda or Yamaha from doing the same thing and improving their bike at the same time.
That sums it up Bonga.

MotoGP » Rossi and Marquez: Racing incident

DontTesttheX:
VegasRyder: I'm envisioning an EPIC duel in Jerez. If all goes well and VR stays the pace we could see a major clash at that famous final corner. The first time marc takes VR out with a wild, over the top move the fans will turn on him. He knows this. His Pr team know this. But I don't think it will cause him to race cleaner. He refuses to lose to vale and now being down 30 points he wIll be even less likely to "settle" for anything but a victory ..
10th anniversary of the gibernez clash, so wouldn't surprise me either...
Ten years already ? Wow, how time passes quick.

MotoGP » Rossi and Marquez: Racing incident

Just read all the posts, and am I the only one that thinks the wording on this article is wrong ? "Marquez's front wheel was hit by Rossi's rear wheel, sending the reigning double champion tumbling down the track". Should it not say, "Rossi's rear wheel was hit by Marques front wheel" That's the way I see it, and wording it the way they have makes it sound like Rossi did something wrong. I am 100% confident he did not. Anyway it is irrelevant, because 24hrs after the race I am still smiling.

therealDave:
paisan: goto youtube nd watchit from over head view even the first bump in this view looks like val cam back into marc and on the second contact val knew exactly where marc was and cuts him off. fair play though, thats racing , marc was maybe too close to rossi and you cant be pushy from behind. marc understands what was done to him and this should make future battles very interesting as neither guy is scared of a little rubbing
Sorry, but that's simply silly.....from track day junkie to club level racing, it is up to the person attempting the pass to make it safe!!!!! MM attempted the first pass and they touched, MM attempted the second pass and they touched. It cannot be itterated enough....the person making the pass is responsible for doing so safely. There was no touch on VR initial pass now, was there!!!!!! Let your hatred for VR go and look at the facts.....
You are 100% wrong buddy for reasons that Dave has exp

Mal X: Just watched the Rossi pass in Slow motion and pictures tell a thousand words. This is just another pass by the untouchable one. tire choice was right but he intentional flicked his bike into to MM line. As race direction ruled it was legitimate, but shows very poor skill on his behalf as he had the pace not to have reported to this tactics. Don't believe me then re-watch and see him flick the bike into MM's line. MM should have known, as this is Rossi's MO along with delayed (to push the other guy wide) power out of the corner after a hard braking corner entry pass. Old dog resort to tricks and young dogs need to learn about Dogs. Great race though, and great shame for Suzuki..
From lap 10 onwards, MM was getting pit board signals Rossi was closing the 4 sec gap. He had 8 laps to deal with what to do when Rossi passes him. He took the wrong option to attack Rossi, after Rossi passed him for the 2nd time. When he did, he drove it underneath Rossi w
