MotoGP » Marc Marquez breaks leg, will miss Sepang test

November 15, 2013 8:21 PM MOTOGP Marquez: New era depends on more than one rider Do us all a favour and stay OFF any dirt bikes to keep your eye in over the winter break. Defending a title seems harder than winning one lately, so you have to carry no injuries into the start of a new season. Well, well, well. Did I assume something like this might happen. Seems I did. It ussually happens to someone in the OFF season. Most people think this is something that will not hinder MM's title defence, and maybe that's right. However no one, and I mean no one, knows what psychological effect it will have on MM. Go Rossi.

MotoGP » Dall’Igna begins reshaping Ducati

@Truefan. Torchio would have bought a lot to Ducati after running a tractor factory would he not. Isn't that what the Ducati is, a tractor? lol. Seriously though, I do hope he can find something. But having 3 races into the season before any major changes, to me is already to late. The horse will have already bolted, so to speak. And as for them being happy that Cal has noticed improvements already, please do me a favour. Lack of time he has had on the bike, changing air pressures in the tyres would be a noticable change for Cal. Dovi's feedback is reassuring to Ducati though. Good luck to them but don't hold your breath waiting for improvements to get them to the pointy end.

MotoGP » Marc Marquez - Q&A

@ Codger. Agree 100% Just like going back to 2001 when a certain charismatic ( hope I spelt that right lol) young Rossi went on to win his 1st 500cc (or moto gp) title. And then went on to entertain us for the next 13 seasons. Hope MM does the same as I think he has the same personality.

MotoGP » Honda would 'stop' if software is controlled

When I go riding and I twist the throttle to much the thing "wheelies". If I get into a corner and wick it up to early, or to hard, the thing will slide, break traction and may spit me off. These things are controlled by me and my right hand, that's why I ride bikes. Great fun. More times than I can remember you meet up with a rider and have a bit of a derby along a twisting road. At the end you may meet up and have a bit of a yap about bikes. The rider then tells me he had traction and wheelie control, and his brothers a computer guru, who mapped the road we just fanged along. He set the mapping up on his bike to stop him being over zealous on the throttle, so he could hold it pinned in the bends. Who had more fun? no brainer I think. That's why I ride motorcycles and watch them race. Oh, and if he offered me a ride on his bike, I would decline. How boring. Just reminds me how much I miss the 500's. Bit of a rant but this debate/topic is getting boring. Enjoy 2014 guys. Go Rossi.
