F1 » F1 drivers are not 'real men' anymore, rues Webber

To the person who didn't understand the need for physical fitness to drive a racecar, because it's f**king hard work, even driving a go kart is hard work after a while. To do 50, 60, or 70 laps constantly on the limit cannot be easy. They can lose litres of sweat in a race. These guys are that fit, they make it look easy. MW would easily be among the fittest on the grid. He is also putting himself into the same group as the other drivers, he is not saying he is any more of a man than the others, he is saying the current crop of drivers has nothing on the old school. Himself included.

F1 » Webber: Over-confidence in F1 2010 'suicidal'

He did mount an early/mid season title challenge last year too, you might say it fell off the rails a bit. JB very nearly did the same thing. Had it not been for the early lead he would have been trounced. Last year was a huge learning year for a lot of people, drivers not used to challenging for wins/titles, and teams not used to running mid/back pack. This year people like MW, SV, JB, RB, etc will all be much more dangerous this year if in the same position towards the end of the year. Bring it on!!!
