Obviously those who don't want to further their rallying career want a RHD car. Hayden Paddon drove a LHD Evo in the NZ Rally Championship the year before he joined the PWRC as he saw it being beneficial to his career as all PWRC/SWRC/WRC cars are LHD.

IndyCar » Conway penalty for technical infringement

I really don't understand how the minds of those at IndyCar work. Now we have at least two drivers that I can think of (Wilson & Conway) who have had technical infringements that have probably gained them an advantage, and all they've been handed is a fine. Yet, if you blow an engine, you get a 10 place grid penalty for the next race?!

@Taz You're right...most of the best drivers come from those countries. As a Kiwi myself, it would be nice to have one in the series. I'm thinking Hayden Paddon (especially with the Skoda link)... but probably in a couple of years time.

So... you have a technical infringement affecting the aerodynamics of your car, win a race, the result stands, and get slapped with a fine. Or... blow an engine in a test that was more than likely due to damage in a crash, and get slapped with a 10 place grid penalty for the next race?! Something's not right!

Daddy's boy Wilson doesn't deserve to be in the WRC... After 12 events he sits 8th with 53 points. Sordo, on the other hand has only competed in 5 events, yet sits above Wilson in 7th. Says it all, really...
