WSBK » First image of Joan Lascorz since accident

Still a really upsetting situation for such a fine young rider to find himself in, but there is still hope that he can fully recover, or at least lead an enjoyable and productive life. There is hope for future medical developments such as stem cell research, although there are legal obstacles to some aspects of this, which can hopefully be swept away to improve people's quality of life in this world.

WSBK » Sykes: Badovini’s silly mistake cost me…

Edwards or de Puniet could do more with the Kwaka than Sykes. WSBK may have more exciting races than MotoGP, but the standard of field is lower. Melandri was little more than midpack on a competitive MotoGP bike, now he's a title contender in WSBK, beating a guy we all lauded for finishing second on a geriatric bike 2 years ago (and who has 1 years' extra experience of the team and bike). Likewise Checa and Biaggi, who were past it in MotoGP but dominant in WSBK. And as for Bayliss....

WSS » Lowes handed win after Sofuoglu penalty

Really don't know what was going through Kenan's head at that moment. Wild aggression, completely senseless, and endangering himself as well as Foret. The punishment was clumsily applied, poorly communicated to fans and viewers, with commentators and other riders confused. Not having pits/car radios obviously makes it harder in bike racing, but surely a more traditional time penalty would make more sense?

WSBK » Sykes out to ‘silence a few people’

He's always late getting to the finish line as well. If they've found something in the testing which will actually make Tom able to hang onto the tyres for any length of time, great - but I'll believe it when I see it. Lascorz always went forwards during the races, so it can't be the bike. Tom's a quick rider with a big achilles heel in terms of keeping a race pace for the full distance - can he ever overcome this?
