Been watching Spies since his AMA days, where he was clearly on the best bike, but last year that R1 was only one of the best bikes and he showed some hardcore poise and focus to beat Nori. I agree that Spies will win one by Indy. Also, it is sweet to see everyone one Rossi's **** getting so bothered, nothing last forever guys. Just imagine what Stoner and all the other more mortal riders must be feeling. Seriously though, how does Tech 3 make black and yellow look so clapped out? yellow/blackSuzuki dirtbikes look awesome - must be a french thing. This season of Mgp is going to be epic.

Sorry to hear this, I was a big fan of BT101 back when he was on Pro Circuit. He took way long to recover from whatever happened to him then so this does not bode well for his future. Heal well Ben. go Dungey!

@dirt digger could not agree more, this season has had somin epic racing, not so much in the last two (one lined tracks)but the Dallas track map looks like there may be some decent passing this Sat. This site is one of the best for motorbike racing. Its crazy how crash doesn't bother much with the AMA SX maybe if that kid Max Anstsie starts winning....

@mxer I must disagree. The loss of the fastest(JS7) and 2nd fastest (CR22) had blown this series wide open. Only now, half way through the season is there a clear favourite. When was the last time AMASX was such a toss up? I was bored watching the goat (RC4) run away every race, so the greatest letdown IMHO was watching JS7 smoke CR22 who smoked everyone else all the bloody time. I just want to see some close racing. cheers.

@190mph No doubt, europeans invented the worlds most epic sport, us yanks just have had the land money and as you wrote talent pool to perfect it. Agreed RC4 is the goat and what I like most is that when he was first coming up he rode very wild (for the times) kind of like what I been hearing lately about Justin Barcia. Hey you never know what will go down with Hayden this year, but he really needs to show up in his finest form. I have a feeling this MGP season is going to be one to remember. Daytona SX starts in a few hours, I'm freaking out, will it be RV2? RD5? maybe kdub14? or CP377? Stroupe? the new canadian wilson? Go Barcia!

@190mph I did indeed misread your literal meaning but you have got to admit there is alot of america hating going on around here so I get a bit defensive when it comes to AMA MX/SX Hayden, Spies, etc. But I really do like FIM MX those dudes are nasty sand riders and those tracks are sick. Just glad your another guy on crash who is crazy about mx. @fanofthesport Dude I'm down to the cuticals waiting for daytona on sat. Dungey for president!

@190mph On par? When our guys go against the worlds finest at the mx des nations they kill it year in year out. RD5 (arguably third or fourth best in AMA) won the mxdn last year in third official race on a 450. And RV 2 (also third or fourth)won the mxdn open a few years back on 250! I would never suggest our road racers are on par with WSB or MGP. But when the worlds best dirt bikers want to beat the best they come here to race.

Also, Barcia is a young rookie (1st AMA SX), Pourcel in comparison is a well traveled and seasoned champion ('09 SX lites - eaast coast). One would think he could beat Barcia straight up but I think he knows his days on top are numbered(he should be on a 450 really). I read the cocky frenchman even claimed he never heard of Barcia, lol for those who don't know they raced 250s outdoors all summer( It's like Rossi saying he never heard of Lorenzo). Bet he f-in heard of him now!
