MotoGP » Jerez Moto2 test times - Monday

It will be interesting to see what happens in actual racing where it is simply not a matter of fast lap times but also race craft. Corti has a proven race record in superstock where close racing was imperative. Westy has also a proven ability in actual racing as does Elias. I cannot wait to see this class in action and then we will be able to make a judgement. I have always liked WSS and at Portimaeo last weekend they showed that even a few bikes can make for exciting racing if they are equal. Hope it works out. :) :) :) :)

MotoGP » West, MZ Racing given Moto2 place

Dr Moo, I agree with your comments. What is important for many riders is to have around them a group to support and sustain them when things are not going right. I believe that Westy hasn't had the right people in this regard. As a person who suffers from a Bi Polar disorder I know the importance of this. It just may be that he needs a sports psychologist to lift and guide him. Other top riders, with more funds, have these facilities. Rossi has Burgess and the team and he has kept them. Why? Because he knows their value. Look at Gibernau and what happened to him. I think he may have been similar to Westy in this regard. It will be interesting to see if MZ can do this for Westy. I hope so.

Walter, you obviously have not watched much racing. Just take last years supersport. Race one against Crutchlow, then Laverty, then Pitt, Sofuglu all on a bike that was very underfunded. Would still have finished 5th or better in WSS if he was not forced to withdraw from the final round. I have seen him race on the track since the V twin 500 days and even before that in Australia. What about the rides on the factory Yamahas in the dry in WSS? Get real mate!If you can do better then do it.
