MotoGP » POLL: What now for Ben Spies?

whatever Ben does I hope he's happy doing it, he's a great lad with a **** load of talent, the thing is, his talent is firmly rooted in motorcycle racing and thats where he should stay if he wants success. Ok, he may be an accomplished cyclist and own a team, I understand his love of both, theyre also my two main passions, but the difference between being an "accomplished" rider and a "world class" rider is absolutely worlds apart, there are tens of thousands of "accomplished" riders around the world and only a few hundered that are "world class level", Ben would be the first to tell you that.

MotoGP » Lorenzo to limit track time after engine loss?

@Geonerd Well said, those moaning about Lorenzo potentially getting a new engine should think about the implications more thoroughly and forget about fan loyalty for a minute. In a situation such as Lorenzos, he was entirely without blame, so why should the championship, team and fans suffer. What if this happened again in the first race next season, and then again in the second or third race, it would completely unbalance the season, its entirely possible that it could happen.

MotoGP » Jorge Lorenzo blasts 'crazy' Bautista move

I'm absolutely gutted for Jorge, losing a 25 point lead to a rider like Casey, in such an infuriating way is really terrible. Bautista was incredibly reckless to try such a move on cold tyres, with cold brakes, but come on guys, its no conspiracy. Although I do think for such a move there should be consequences, destroying another riders world championship lead in such a stupid fashion should have some harsh consequences, simply writing it off as a 'racing incident' isnt good enough when were talking about possible World Titles, not 4th or 5th!!

MotoGP » HAVE YOUR SAY: Who was your Le Mans star?

Jorge, 10 seconds clear. . .what a ride!! Rossi did well to get second, but it aint the second coming people. . it was drenched, and on this basis, realistically, he could get two podiums a year, tops, how is that a renaissance? Stoner likely didnt want to bin it in the wet in his final ever season and had a ravaged rear tyre, Rossi was smart and simply took advantage of the situation, so his second place is less emphatic when put under the spotlight. Great ride by Ellison also, really happy for the guy after the recent 'birdgate' debacle. . .

MotoGP » Shane Byrne to make MotoGP return?

"Casey Stoner has severe chatter problems and still wins the race" Well, if you want to start talking about Casey, below was Caseys opinion on twitter to Ellison Casey Stoner @OfficialCS27 "@racingellison yeah I thought you were getting a little too close! I have never seen chatter like yours, that bike needs to go in the bin!" Bird needs to get a clue and stop slagging his rider off, ar$ehole!
