MotoGP » Yamaha out to keep 'ideal' line-up, wary of Honda

Joeski To me it boils down to just how good Yamaha think Ben Spies WILL be. Both the current riders at Fiat Yamaha are proven winners but the question is will Spies have the same level of success as any of them on factory equipment? OK he wins the wsbk championship but still, the fact of the matter is this:NO WSBK CHAMPION HAS EVER WON A MOTOGP CHAMPIONSHIP.period. Spies is an amazing rider no doubt but surely for Yamaha the future lies in non other than jorge right? time to let rossi go hes done wonderfully well but if Yamaha wants to keep on raking in championships then Jorge will be the man. JUst my two cents people. dont hate me for it :p

BUT THEN....what IF JORGE WINS THIS YEAR????? :? if he does and they decide to keep Rossi and give Jorge the boot??!! ARE YOU SERIOUS?! And expecting Spies to move upto the factory team and immediately be a race winner is asking a bit too much IMO. Yea he was superb in wsbk but this is the elite stage, and im not saying spies will not be succesful but just that.....JORGE is a proven race winner, superb dogfighter with scorching speed and fierce determination to win no doubt a future champion. Anyways as a Honda fan I would personally love to see either Stoner or Jorge at Repsol partnering Dani. :p Two aliens in the team seem a better gamble to retake the title :p

WSBK » Rea ‘excited, not down in the dumps’

Damn damn damn. yup your righ mad phil he was super fast after his slow start and definitely couldve been on the podium. Just sucks he didnt get what he deserved i mean he was riding the wheels of the bike which was not supposed to be good at this track, yet he was always up there in practice and quali. Just cruel cruel luck on JR and JT aswell. Hopefully both of em will be fit for kyalami. He's still in for the WC :) GO JR!! :) :) :)
