F1 » 'Disappointed' Webber 'mystified' by gap to Vettel

And so it begins - all the haters with too much time on their hands and an over inflated idea of the worth of their opinion. Nothing new I suppose, it's just irksome that most of these comments come from individuals who themselves probably couldn't drive a stick up their own ars3s, much less have the intestinal fortitude to say the un-informed things they post here to the subjects face, if the opportunity arose. It's race one. Vettel himself said that they are all on "zero points" at this stage, lets wait a few months before braking out the schadenfreude, hmmm? (I'm looking at you Darren - "silly ozzie mouth"? condescending w@nker).

F1 » Button's historic Bathurst run

@ DTS I'm with you - I had goosebumps watching this, and the obvious kick that both Button and Lowndes got from this reminds me of why we all love this sport! (to clarify, I've never raced cars, but I do race bikes at club level and am a track-day junkie - the concentration needed to do things, even at my meagre level, is cathartic and borderline meditative. I feel refreshed each time, and can't stop chattering like a loon to anyone who stands still long enough :) )

F1 » Webber: Relationship with Vettel good, friction gone

Vettel has been bound for an F1 seat since 14 years of age (Red Bull) - how could he not have an overarching sense of entitlement and the lack of maturity that comes with this? He is undoubtedly a very fast driver, and a deserving WDC, I just hope he settles into his skin a bit more and becomes a true champion. His enthusiasm for racing is palpable, put him in a lesser car for 8+ years and earn his ride - year in year out (like his team mate), and you would see a different side again. This year may have been Webbers' best chance at lifting the WDC, and he had a red hot go - came very bloody close - what would anyone feel who has been through the system like he has (written off and under rated by many armchair pundits) to see a very young talent being favoured by a team that yon EDIT by CRASH,NET! This constant Australian v European spat is not good for the forum. Tone down your comments or risk suspension.

MotoGP » Moto2: West to stick with MZ Racing

A good deal of uninformed comment from the haters, but this is not surprising. Last years MZ was a P.O.S. with a frame made from water pipe, that looked like it weighed more than the frame on my 1100 Katana. The Kawasaki MotoGP bike was diabolical - but anyone who was paying any attention would know this. It was obvious when West jumped straight onto the Yamaha WSS bike and won immediately that a good ride was the missing link. MZ are lucky to have West on their bike again, here's hoping that they can evolve the frame to something resembling a GP-level racing bike, so West and Max can show some form.
