F1 » LAST CHANCE: VOTE for your 2014 F1 Driver of the Year!

JunglistF1: Unrelated to this topic but it's worth asking anyway. Seeing as Christmas is around the corner can anyone recommend me a book worth asking for which offers a good insight into the history of F1 whilst still being enjoyable to read?
You could try Formula 1 the autobiography or the Times - F1 unseen. I also have a book called 100 years of Motorsport (updated covers 1894-1997) which takes in ACF Grand Prix, Gordon Bennet Trophy, the 30s GPs and the Indy 500. Though I do not know if that's been updated since. Hope that helps

F1 » No decision on McLaren F1 drivers – Honda

richard: looks as if you have not been following f1 for very long! schumi signed for ferrari, who hadnt wona race or quite a while, and look what he did. and then there was even vettel, who signed for a team that had never even won a race! and there are many other instances too numerous to mention. nobody (least of all you) knows if macca will have a good car next year or not. nobody knows what the honda motor will be capable of. you could even find that they have a brawn type advantage next year!
Richard, sorry to be pedantic, Ferrari prior to Schumi hadn't won a title for 13 years. But I seem to remember Berger and Alesi winning the 94 German and 95 Canadian GPs respectively.
