F1 » Ecclestone responds to NASCAR criticism

I agree with the sentiments on both sides. However I find the multiple lead changes on those circle tracks confusing when in short order the leaders start lapping the tail enders. Even on race tracks in Nascar and Indy there are too many full course cautions where they could be covered under local yellow or double yellow. This can make the results too artificial for me.

F1 » ‘We know that we are strong’ – Hamilton

Tomco: Hes pretty much always had a car capable of winning the championship so I dont see anything that different this time round although this car does seem to be a clear favourite.
You mean 2007, 2008 right? Every other year since then Mclaren was a complete joke. Horrible reliability with epic team fckups. Imho lulu only had one bad year which was 2011. EVERY other year it was mclarens' fault that they didnt win the wdc.
Ponty, how many brain farts did lulu have in 2008? How many cluster bombs did Ferrari give Massa? Fuel hose at Singapore anyone? Lulu was lucky to win the title that year, for me Massa was the moral victor.

F1 » Massa: Happiness and relief at Williams choice

I posted this on the wrong thread so I'll repeat As much as I would like to see Williams/Massa doing well, it depends on other factors. I wouldn't be surprised if RBR get a grip with their car in short order, Seb has proved he can drive very well though I would like to see him leave Red Bulls protective shell and someone else win the title this year a la Lewis, I still wouldn't bet against him. Anyhow, I thought Massa had come to the end of his contract which wasn't renewed with no hard feelings.

F1 » Massa: Happiness and relief at Williams choice

Nealio, completely agree, I sincerely wish Massa the best it's in his hands and could be his last throw of the dice. Michael rates Massa highly and was his mentor. I do not think he got that under the current regime to the same degree because Alonso has bossed all his past team mates since his days when Renault placed him with Minardi (Lewis arguably was another issue that I'm NOT going there).
