MotoGP » Stoner takes last 800cc pole by one second at Valencia

@ Mhardy, I am not a Casey Stoner fan, but who cares what people say about his bike. At the moment, there are 2 other people on the same bike and they aren't getting it done like Casey. Relax, Casey is having as dominant a season as any rider in the history of MotoGP and I've enjoyed watching him. There is no question who the best rider is in MotoGP!

MotoGP » Ben Spies: No excuses next year

In 2008 this was the rule. "1.18 Start Procedure MotoGP riders may use a generator to power tyre warmers on the grid. Only one generator per machine may be used. The generator must be of the hand carried type and have a maximum output capacity of two kilowatts.17) The spare machine may remain inside the pit box until such time as it is used in the race, but any exchange of machine must be made in the pit lane." Got this from the MotoGP Website. Crash will not let me post the link, but the following should be enough for your search. Grand Prix Commission amend regulations for 2008 Wednesday, 19 December 2007 The Grand Prix Commission have seen fit to amend select regulations for 2008. Google is your friend. This was a 45 sec. search.

MotoGP » Rossi keen to keep winning momentum

My last comment on this subject, although my first comment was off topic. As a fan of motorbike racing, I think J-Lo won the championship fair and square. I think it takes skill, speed and luck to win a championship. J-Lo got it done. IMO, it doesn't matter that Rossi was injured and missed some races. J-Lo had a great season by any standard. Can't wait for the real 2011 season to begin, although I thought it started a couple weeks ago.

MotoGP » Rossi keen to keep winning momentum

@ "Phillip Island is one of the greatest circuit ever" I saw the MotoGP race at Laguna Seca in 2005 and during the 1st free practice on Friday, while the racers were going uphill from T4 to T5, they all were spinning the back tire and doing a wheelie before throwing it into T5. It was the most amazing thing I've seen on a motorcycle. I actually thought about quitting, because I can't ride! IMO, anybody who rides a MotoGP bike is a great rider. As an aside, my girlfriend wanted to know why we had to bring earplugs, because she didn't think the bikes were that loud on TV! lol To her credit, she figured it out pretty quickly!
