F1 » Hamilton confirms three-year Mercedes F1 deal

107SS2009: During Lulu’s contract negotiations last year his two usual British Lulufosi fan clubs quoted him as saying that “as he is world champion he wants to be the highest paid driver on the grid”, sometime in January this year I quoted (on here) my source as saying that Stuttgart estimated Lulu as being the third best on the grid and that they offered Lulu a three year deal of Euro 20m per year which can rise up to a maximum of Euro 25m a year with bonus and performance payments, the 20m a year is less than the amounts both Vettel and Alonso were being gaurnated by FERRARI and macHonda, at that time Stuttgart told Lulu “fahr fur’n appiel und’n ei oder mach die fliege”, and facts are now showing that Stuttgart stuck to their estimations and to what they were offering Lulu. The pulling, stretching, pushing,turning-up or down of this subject by his usual two British fan clubs such as now settling on “the highest paid British sportsman” will not/cannot negate the above fac

F1 » Hamilton ‘just tweaking car here and there’

Soundofspeed: You are right about Senna's charity work. It's a shame that none of the 5 highest paid F1 drivers equal Senna in Charity work. Especially Vettel, who is reportedly the highest paid driver on the grid. He should do more for charity than just selling autographed helmets. As you said, charity comes from the heart. Not helmets.
wow, i was beginning to take you seriously and now you come out with a totally unfounded criticism. how the hell do you know what any of the top 5 drivers do for charity? and for your info, i am aware that vettel is a very big contributor to "wings for life" and i also know that ferdi also sponsors some childrens charities. i had the decency to compare a person who donates a miniscule amount of their salary to charity, to those who are more generous but with a pittance. i mentioned absolutely no names, yet you come on and make an accusation about one specific driver. since you want to name driver

F1 » Rosberg driving ‘at his best’ in Bahrain Grand Prix

Handcard: I think I see what Toto Wolff is trying to say here, but that headline makes it look like a bit of a backhanded compliment. "Yeah Nico, you were awesome today. Well done for losing to your team-mate" Either way though, his confidence has to be taking a bashing. He needs to get into a first corner first and pull away from everyone at some point in the next couple of races otherwise I fear he'll lose the credibility he's built (if you believe that he has any) and become one of those "good number 2" drivers. Although if I had my wish, i'd rather have Seb and Kimi nipping at Lewis's heels. I'm still not sure that Nico's in their league..... Actually, if I'm wishing, let's throw a couple of McLaren's in there too.
You are going to get your wish in a couple of races as that is when Ferrari brings there new motor with an extra 20 to 30 brake horsepower

F1 » Rosberg explains Hamilton criticism

Gilles: @MikeP, sorry about the last post but if you look closely there is a "ME" in "TEAM". End of........
There is no I in team. But there is a Me. There is also a team, mate, and tea, eat and ate. Maybe ME should sit down with TEAM and MATE to have some TEA and if Lucy pulls the football on Chuck again, MATE should tell ME to EAT 'EM.
Should be tell ME to EAT more MEAT
