MotoGP » Marquez success fuels hunger for 'more titles'

"You're just another who thinks that things cannot change" I never said they cant, I just said they won't Reason I believe that is that not everybody who watches and enjoys it have as deeply seated feelings about the wrights and wrongs of the sports internal workings as you do and there fore wont vote with their TV remotes like you want them to. I don't totally disagree with your vision of a fairer sport but it is a fantasy.

MotoGP » Marquez success fuels hunger for 'more titles'

TalentFan: Start pushing for Dorna to take control
Who should do this then?
TalentFan: they ALL should have the best bikes in the premier series FFS!
How do you expect this scenario will ever come about? This sport is not just about competition between riders its about competition between manufacturers, teams, team mates , etc and will always lead to disparity in performance between any two packages of manufacturer/rider/team/sponsors etc. This equality of equipment you talk of has never existed and never will.

Don't be so harsh on yourself
You & Brolong, some comedy double act! Bit simplistic and school playground level, but you keep at it, you might get funny! Like I said before.... if fans are so stupid that they actually get taken in by MotoGP as it us, and genuinely believe its a good, honest, sporting racing series, and that those who win, win without unfair advantage..... Then I feel sorry for them. Some unfortunates are simple and hard of thinking - but its not their fault. Its just how it is. Ive been thinking MotoGP is aimed at a 'Special Needs' audience for a while - seems to be getting them, anyway.
cannon and ball, little and large..... brolong and mrfill, I think it's got a good ring to it. So moving on to your next ironic faux par/self assessment: "Ive been thinking MotoGP is aimed at a 'Special Needs' audience for a while" ..

And as usual, you would be wrong when it comes to anything related to GP. You keep saying you are not a Marquez detractor, but it oozes out of every pore of your body. Quit trying to hide who you are, we know.
So, I'm making stuff up then? or did the event I mentioned actually happen, and as I described it? im not a MM hater, just pointing out that Crash conveniently chose to leave out the HOW, to try and make it more of a pro-Marquez human interest story. You are however, proving yourself to be a biased, pro MM fanboy.
Yes, you are making stuff up. He did not injure his eye in that incident, so NO, Crash did not leave out anything. You are as usual uninformed. And you call me a turnip. LOl
Beat me to it matey, sure enough it was in fact the sepang crash that caused his eye injury. So while incident with Wilairot did happen, Talentfan was simply mis

MotoGP » Loris Baz looking for a ride

I remember all the fuss made about how dani would destroy everyone due to his smallness (is that even a real word?) on his move up to MGP, 9 seasons on its not given him any real advantage other than some very fast launches off the line with the aid of launch control to boot. As already mentioned, a certain someone is, while smaller than the average guy, taller than most gp riders and it has not hindered his career. I'm sure there are plenty more examples through history which I cant be bothered to dig out. I just find the whole hight/size/weight thing a bit of BS,

How do you know it hasn't given Dani an advantage? Do you see a parallel universe where he is a foot taller, 25kg heavier and had similar results? He's done very well and might have been just another 'average' rider if he was bigger and heavier. It must have some effect but there is the perfect balance in the middle somewhere, if you're too much of a scrawny weed you wont have the strength to muscle the bike around and the lightness will start to be detrimental. I think Dani is possibly just past that line for these big bikes.
I didn't say he hasn't done any good. But yeah fair enough he might be at more of a disadvantage if he were any bigger/h
