MotoGP » Pedrosa surprised by end-of-race pace

" I'm just not 100% convinced given Yamaha's history, you know, with Ben Spies having so many failures and mechanicals just as a certain VR was lined up to replace him, yet Jorge didn't have a single one." - Funny you mention that, Spies was too good to run for Tech 3 and settle for third place and not a $ maker compared to Rossi's return. What a waste, Ben Spies was our best hope this side of the Atlantic. Spies in a Honda would've been great, but we know how they played with Rea, while Stoner's exit would bring Marquez and Pedrosa together as Repsol's favorite babies. And sure not, it is working.
