MotoGP » Wayne Rainey - Q&A

In the U.S., motorcycle road racing is frowned upon by the whole of it's society in general. The culture in the U.S. itself is unwelcoming towards sport bike and it's riders. If you are at a red light on a sport bike, in many towns you might be even mocked at but if next to you there is an obese person sitting on a Harley then he is the one being admired.

MotoGP » PICS: Jorge Lorenzo’s jump start

Blame it on the time change ! At 2:00 in Texas it was 9:00pm in Spain! In my opinion it was useless to risk a start to end up at the front on the first turn "on THIS track !" Lorenzo was not going to control the race at the front like he did in Valencia, he was going to lose that position on the first straight anyways. He is desperate and trying everything to make up for the disadvantage the Yamaha has, same error as in Qatar.
