MotoGP » Dovizioso: Marquez was much faster

stavo.....:- 03 125cc.......finished ahead of Stoner. 04 125cc.......World Champion ahead of Stoner and Lorenzo. 05 250cc.......finished ahead of Lorenzo. 06 250cc.......finished 2nd (to Lorenzo). 07 250cc.......finished 2nd (to Lorenzo). 08 MotoGP....finished 5th behind the Aliens. 09 MotoGP....finished 6th one point behind Edwards. 10 MotoGP....finished 5th nineteen points behind Stoner. 11 MotoGP....finished 3rd ahead of Pedrosa. 12 MotoGP....finished 4th on the Tech3 (Stoner finished 3rd) 13 MotoGP....finished 8th (Ducati). Champion on 125cc, 2nd twice on a 250cc, and a 3rd on a MotoGP. As you say...good rider. Might have been better if he had a #1 bike with Honda, and a Works bike with Yamaha.

MotoGP » Pedrosa: Anything could happen on a day like this

Dani finished the season ahead of Casey in 2012. The Honda is mighty in Stoner's hand and mighty in Marc's hands maybe. As a true comparison bike against bike it is just marginally better than the Yamaha. all 4 Works riders acknowledge that fact. Not a big difference in bike......huge difference in rider. Marc will eventually get beaten and I hope it is because of Yamaha improvements (dare I say Ducati as well ?) and not a serious error from the HotShot.

MotoGP » ‘Scared’ Lorenzo haunted by Assen injury

insidejob......You might have had a pop at Hopper, who I was a big fan of, but I had to laugh. Your second post mentioned colour. I was generalising, not being swayed by Rossi's reputation. They were sitting way back on the grid, Marc was 50ft in front and Rossi (his team mate don't forget) was 10 feet behind. I think, on this occasion, that Rossi was on his mind more than Marc was. I remember once before in a wet race Jorge forced himself into the lead and immediately put his hand up hoping the race would be stopped, so who knows how big his worry was in the race. Anyway, Jorge's return to form can't come soon enough imo.
