MotoGP » Rossi: New Ducati ‘fast’, tyre rule ‘unfair’

Of course Rossi is right in saying it's unfair but that won't stop people slating him for saying it. (maybe he should have lied when answering the question ?) I doubt that Dovi and Iannone think it's fair either, but you can't blame them from taking advantage when possible. As an aside, I've advocated before.....Qualify on the tyre that you are going to race on, and race on the tyre that you used to Qualify.

How wrong was I to think that a single tyre coming in would be a good thing. I thought that once everyone involved got used to a single tyre then the racing would become fairer for all. How naive was I ? It never occurred to me that it was a lie and they would all be sorting out many different permutations at every race, and not every rider having the same choices. Ironic too that ridiculous rules are constantly changed to even more ridiculous rules, in a so called effort to even things up, and yet the minimum weight rule is never considered. How long before some teams are given a 10 second start at races ??

MotoGP » Smith: We're close to being top satellite bike

Bradders comes in for a bit of stick on here but if you check out his times on the final day you'll find that he is as good as Cal. Cal put in a very quick lap though. As regards the 3 English blokes, sad to say, I don't think any of them will reach the top. Years ago it dawned on me that those riders that reach the top do so fairly quickly, and with steady progression. If I'm right then Dani, Dovi, and the poms have missed the boat. I hope ALL of them prove me wrong (especially Dovi :)). TF2...any thoughts on my rapid climb theory ??

PaulW54 ....... Fair point. I made a mistake thinking that somebody calling himself kangaroo and having a pop at people he calls poms and mentioning down under might be an Aussie. Truth is, his trolling made me smile so I trolled back. What happened to his posts anyway, I didn't see anything about bullkilling ? I'm with you on Brad and Cal, and with you both on being against some bloke in weird clothes killing an animal for fun.

Kangaroo.....OK I'll bite :). You may well be right when you say that we are not good enough but us poms don't retire with a sulk when we get beaten, or the rules don't go the way we want. I suggest that you hold your comments until Jack finds his feet, because at the moment all the riders from Pomland are doing far better than our antipodean friends in all series of bike racing..
