MotoGP » ‘Scared’ Lorenzo haunted by Assen injury

“So today has been 100 percent my fault. I was to apologise to the team, the people that work with me and the fans because I was unable to be brave, to be fast in these track conditions like the other riders.” Nothing wrong with this, it takes a big (& brave) man to admit fault, and admit fear. Melandri and Rossi and now Cal have admitted to being scared of the Ducati. Not much difference to Jorge really, it is all about fear of the unexpected. His true character will show from now on. He has to come back from this, he has to accept that he is second to his team mate, and he has to be humble enough to (possibly) face a pay cut. I wish him luck.

jamie.marshall.1675......Dovi has never been on the best bike on the grid. If you are referring to his time with Honda then remember he was #3 in the team and not that experienced in the top class. Whether Dovi is as good as the top three Aliens we probably will never know, but as his fan I believe he should be given the chance to show us. Today, and in the stupid Qually, he showed class, and he hasn't let the fact that Cal is paid more than him get to him, again, class.

I was referring to the apology not the reason for the apologies, certainly not comparing the bikes All the men I mentioned were unable, through trepidation, to ride as they wanted, so they rode within their limits. All of them admitted it, which is my reason for comparing them. And Guna.......just because you don't agree with, or don't understand, what I say you don't have to wonder if I'm drunk. :)

MotoGP » Marquez masters elements to match Ago at Assen

SwissJudge.......not Giacomo's fault of course. He, like all the others, could only ride what he was given. We'll never know if he could have competed today had he been born in this era, he probably would but he wouldn't win very often. The competition is too fierce, and there are too many good bikes around. Marc is something special, I'm glad I'm around to witness it.
