MotoGP » Marquez heads Lorenzo in warm-up, Rossi fourth

The same few 'haters' have latched onto the fact that Rossi deliberately ran Marc wide to slow him up. Fair enough but they shouldn't take it so personally, why does it matter so much to them. My problem is that the punishment doesn't fit the crime. What Rossi did only affected Marquez, whereas the punishment, in theory, benefits the whole grid. What punishment would fit the crime I have no idea, but Rossi losing the Championship, or indeed Jorge winning it, because of Rossi's antics in the previous race is wrong, no matter what. Maybe the punishment would have been less if one of the riders hadn't been named Rossi, or the incident had happened in the early part of the season.

MotoGP » Rossi blasts Marquez after MotoGP title defeat have it all wrong. The 'birch' is that Marc held Rossi up, nobody has said that he shouldn't overtake him. For the haters....first enjoy Rossi being beaten, you got your wish. Here's a strange idea for you ...just suppose that Rossi is right in what he said happened in PI. Just suppose Andrea is right too. Just suppose Race Direction had listened and taken steps to stop it happening again. What would the discussion be now ? Who knows, Rossi might have scored more points in PI, more points in Sepang, and more points in Valencia. The bottom line is that Lozzer is Champ, role on next year.

MotoGP » Rossi blasts Marquez after MotoGP title defeat

Juggaknot...... I think that by interfere Rossi means don't hold up riders in PI, that there is no need to battle so strongly from lap 4 onwards in Sepang, and if it is possible to overtake another rider in the last 3 laps of a race in Valencia and you don't, then why not. So I'm suggesting that maybe hypocritical is the wrong word to use. Whether people come on here to attack Rossi, or defend him, is not really the issue in my eyes. It's MotoGP and Lozzer's Title that are the true victims.

MotoGP » Lorenzo holds nerve for third premier class title

Haven't had time to read the posts yet so this might have been said already. It wouldn't hurt if Rossi demanded an inquiry. He warned the World about Marc's riding during PI, Andrea said the same. Nobody listened. Marc rode in a strange way in Sepang. nothing was done. Huge suspicion about his riding in Valencia too. Marc, if he stays on the bike, is much faster than the rest of the grid, check out his win rate. Even this year his % win rate of the races he finished is better than Rossi or Jorge.

bikenut......I feel that the Championship is ruined because of the incident, and it shouldn't be. I take your point but I would point out that the incident is more to do with Rossi trying to show Marc the error of his ways (in his eyes). It became a bigger happening with Marc falling off. It seems to me that Marc could have avoided it, and he knows it, hence his lack of anger when he picked himself up. I will enjoy the race which ever Yamaha wins the Title. You enjoy it too. I'll enjoy the race even more if Dovi wins the race..

MotoGP » MotoGP Valencia - Full Qualifying Results

I see that Crash dot's efforts to clean up this site by making us all register hasn't worked. Stunning lap by Jorge, I thought only Marc could do that sort of thing. What was Rossi playing at, he was VERY slow through section 3 and slow in 4. He wasn't this morning so did he have a problem, after all it was an innocuous little crash. Dovi, still struggling but a little better.
