MotoGP » Stoner’s Qatar test back on with reschedule

MxRacer25....you obviously missed the fact Rossi didn't race the bike that Casey made his name on. He practised on the bike that Casey struggled all year with and then when Rossi eventually raced the modified bike he in fact set faster race times than Casey had. The success didn't come because Honda and Yamaha had upped their game. Casey would not have won any races either if he had stayed another year. He had more sense, he left and jumped on a Championship winning bike.

1 Casey thread, so no point bringing in Rossi's name and then slagging him. You can do that on a Rossi thread.....silly me, you already do. 2 If you must slag him then don't use lies, it devalues your credibility. 3 "In another post sometime I'll explain how Rossi eventually became intimidated on-track just by being near Casey - "......Please do, after all Rossi was so intimidated by Casey that he could get 'back to back' Titles with Casey on track. abel748 ... you should read again what you posted, you may have shortened your list because there was no point carrying on but you still managed to get 5 or 6 lies in there. Makes you look a bit daft.

I'll repeat myself when I say that I see no point, as far as development goes, having Casey as a test rider. Even if he laps 10 seconds a lap quicker than the two Andreas it'll be of no use to Ducati. It won't help those 2 to lap faster, how can it unless Stoner finds something radical, like the front forks are 15cm too long, or the rear shock is set for someone of 18 stone in weight. OK , maybe over the top but there 9 or 10 riders circulating on Ducatis of at least 3 different iterations, surely there is enough Data there. The association with Casey is fishy, to say the least. He left them in disgust after crashing his brains out trying to help them improve the bike for them, he burnt himself out and had to take a rest, and while he was gone they offered another rider more money. He owes them sod all.

MotoGP » Crutchlow talks electronics, Redding, Marquez

It's always interesting to hear what Cal has to say, always upbeat and optimistic too. He discusses 3 topics, dare I suggest a 4th.....his own approach to testing. He hardly ever strings together a few good laps, often his lap times are up and down and up again, varying as much as 3 or more seconds a lap. The lad can ride with the best and can pull a really quick lap out of a clutch of really slow ones. Time maybe to put a few quick ones together now and then. ( This is supposed to be on the Crash Recruiting thread...It is not accepted on there...just crashes the site.. Top of their list should be someone who can sort out this site...the most unstable, unreliable, constantly crashing site on the Web. )
