MotoGP » Lorenzo lights up Mugello with Marquez battle

I posted this after Warmup :- Lozzer has the race pace to win this one. Marc is going to find out just how good Jorge is. Ducatis are seriously fast but they'll drop back during the race (Ianonne got slower as the laps went on in warm up.) Rossi will give us a good race, but from 10th ??? He needs to find 4 tenths to match Marc and Jorge and I suspect that the Ducatis are going to make that a tough task. Dovi, wherever he finishes will be top Ducati. 2 agree 5 disagree As I see it the only bit I got wrong was thinking the Ducatis would cause Rossi problems. Nice to see Jorge back with us.

MotoGP » ‘Great emotion’ as Rossi returns to Mugello podium

The value of top speed is open to analysis. Above all it depends how quickly the top speed is reached. Also if 2 machines accelerate at the same rate, providing the straight is long enough, the one with the higher top speed will gain an advantage. The fact that it will also have to brake earlier has to be factored in though. herewego....not trying to be a smartarse. :) ps. How did you get **** past the crash.net censors ??

MotoGP » ‘Great emotion’ as Rossi returns to Mugello podium

Huge relief from the 'bashers' again. I bet they were watching from behind their fingers, terrified that Rossi might catch the front 2. Lucky for them he didn't. The reason ? Rossi gave them 7 places start, he lost a second on the first lap, and half a second on the second lap due to traffic. Marc on the Honda didn't take long to catch Jorge, and then sat on his tail for lap after lap, while Rossi did manage to catch them little by little. Credit to Jorge, he set his fastest lap near the end, probably using the Hondas tow. He also fought Marc with some aggressive riding. Last year Rossi was written off by the 'bashers' for finishing 4th. This year he is written off for finishing 2nd & 3rd. Should be fun next year.

ducfer..... See :- www.ducati.com/history/60s/elite It had rubbish chrome and rubbish electrics but, at 16yrs old, I loved it. I've been a Ducati fan ever since. It had a racing cylinder head and overhead cam shaft, did a genuine 93mph (the speedo showed 101mph, which of course I believed :)) Hard to believe now, but I traded it in for a 500cc Ariel single. We all do stupid things sometimes.

MotoGP » Dovizioso: Our engine is incredible!

From Dovi :- “In the straight our engine is unbelievable. I was surprised this morning because first lap I was behind Lorenzo... it's nice to gain some easy tenths.” Nice touch of honesty. Fishermen should take note. It's nice to get the 2007 engine back again......will the tyres let them take advantage though ? Dovi for top Ducati finisher yet again ?
